Who new they had great music too

For once A restaurant exceeded my expectations and surprised me with a great experience not just great food but a great time. I was shocked to find that after a meal of perfect sea scallops, (my wife had an ostrich appetizer and a chinoise salad both of which she wants to order again) a great band started up and entertained us to the wee hours. They have music every night now and this new guy in the kitchen rocks also!

GO you will love it.

Excellent historic atmosphere, with great food

I enjoyed a wonderful dinner with my family. I recommend the Lobster in puff pastry appetizer and the duck . My husband had the steak frites which was cooked to perfection. They made a special pasta for our children and the manager was most accommodating to our needs. We split a delicious chocolate ganache for dessert that was heavenly. I thought the atmosphere was great but think they should take down the christmas lights in the dining room.

Atrocious unless you like to be treated with contempt.

We arrived with a more than two-week old reservation and were shunted into a shabby back room by the kitchen door, and the waitress did more to disrupt our meal as she noisily commandeered the room (moving chairs around) than it was helpful. The food was no better than the local diner's. In fact, you'd be better off at the local diner. Avoid!

• Pros: OK, there is plentuy of parking. Big deal.
• Cons: Basically, the opposite of what you expect after visiting the website.
