Not good, really at all.

I went there after hearing how great it was. Wow. The bread was stale, the salad was overpriced and empty. The pasta was well cooked, didn't have enough sauce though or flavor. I though it was expensive and I prefer Bella Via just blocks away by far.

This is a gem in Long Island City. I just moved in down the block and will be eating at or taking out Manetta's at least once a week. Definitely try their chicken parm.

The cannoli person below should have stayed for the food. I eat here 2 times a week. The food is excellent and the service is great. The pizza ia among the best in NY. Read the NY Times review if you don't believe me. The desserts and pastas are all homemade. Try it, if ya' don't like it, go someplace else. But, I think you'll like it!

Short But Sweet:
The carafes of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo are a bargain, but if it's flavor you're after, order from the short bottle list. The Rodney Strong California cabernet sauvignon, with its intense fruit and soft tannins, is a great, all-around choice.
