In Short – Named after an Irish river, this hangout boasts beer and an unpretentious, old-school pub atmosphere. Friendly locals fill the two-room haven, and the only Manhattanites to be found are overflow from the nearby P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Center. Occasionally, there's a DJ or a live musical performance. But mostly people come here to drink--and there's Guinness, Bass, Sam Adams and Bud on tap to choose from.
