showers and water in the pool is too cold for me, for that reason i probably wont be renewing my year membership.

BEST FACILTY EVER SEEN. MY KIDS AND I LOVE EVERYTIME WE GO TO THE COMPLEX, SO MANY DIFFERENT SPORTS TO CHOOSE FROM, YOU DONT HAVE TO BE A MEMBER, WALKINS ARE WELCOMED, AMAGINE ALL UNDER ONE ROOF, BEST BETTING CAGES, BASEBALLS, SOFTBALLS, LIVE PITCHING, LIVE HITTING, WELL LIT, AIRCONDITIONED, TOTALY AUTOMETIC NO BALLS TO PICK UP NO MACHINES TO FEED, THEY HAVE A CHILDREN GYM WITH 25 MACHINES PERFECTLY DESIGNED FOR KIDS 6+, HEATED SWIMMING POOL, HOT JACUZZI, KIDS BIRTHDAY PARTIES ARE AMAZING NOT ONLY DO THE KIDS HAVE FUN BUT ALSO THE PARENTS HAVE A GREAT TIME ALSO PARTICIPATING IN THE SPORTS THE CHILD CHOOSES, AS A MATTER OF FACT THE OWNER IS ALWAYS THERE AND HE MAKES A PERSONAL SPEECH AND AWARDS THE BIRTHDAY CHILD WITH A BEAUTIFUL TROPHY, YOU HAVE TO GO SEE IT TO BELEIVE IT, ALSO IT HAS INDOOR SOCCER WITH REAL ASTROTURF AND PLEXI GLASS, A LARGE BALL ROOM, TWO VERY LARG INFLATABLE SLIDES AND STAR WALKER, AND LOT OF VIDEO GAMES. Dirty and Dangerous!. As some others wrote in their reviews, I seriously question the cleanliness, besides that its not a comfortable atmosphere for me personally, and to top it all off I heard there were recently 3 stabbings there! When my safety is in question, that's a deffinite NO from me.

THE BEST IN QUEENS. AWSOME PLACE AND FACILITY!! i love it here, ive just started and signed up and i must say im very satisfied. great staff, great equiment, new machines, very clean and spotless all the time. i even signed up my brother and mother. they have a wide selection of equipment, and even a childrens gym for the younger crowd (ages 6 to around 12). they even have a indoor, heated, clean swimming pool! all the floors have bathrooms and lockers. and the price i must say is unbeatable! in most gyms it would have costed a arm and a leg, but not at ASC, a great price for a great facility!! they also have batting cages, indoor soccer field with astro turf and even do birthday partys for children! im very happy and satisfied, im definitly signing up over and over again! no need to look for a gym, this is the one!!!! there price is unbeatable!

best family entertaining. my experience at the astoria sports complex was always top rated. whether it was taking my children to the batting range, birthday parties, or the gym; i found the facility very clean and very organized and modern. one of the most impressive things is the owner is always on staff, and the staff is the most curdious that i have ever come across. But, best of all, this is a facility that my whole family had a fantastic time, and it was the lowest price than any other facility. my wife, my child and myself, have joined the gym package which includes swimming pool, jacuzzi, and cardio gym, for me and my wife. and for my son, which is eight years old, he was able to join the swimming pool, jacuzzi, and the youth gym. with 25 machines dedicated to children. my wife and i were very impressed on how wonderful the bathrooms look. the bathrooms look newly renovated, and are constantly clean

Family Favorite!. My kids and I had a really enjoyable experience. They met up with friends and spent hours in the batting cages. I found the staff to be helpful and courteous. I highly recommend spending an afternoon.

Worst Management and Customer Service ever experienced!. Together with my husband, I used to be a member at this facility, especially because of their pool. The fees for the membership, when we signed up, were $240 per person per year, to be paid in full, at signing the contract. This sounds like quite a bit of money, but if you break it down into months, it comes to $20 - a real deal!

Our membership expired shortly after our baby was born and being first-time parents, we didn't have the time to renew the arrangement.

After a while we started going back on a regular basis, to work out in the pool, since, even as a non-member, you can train there for $7 per person during the week and $12 at the weekend. These prices are quite high and even the baby (at the time 4 months old) had to pay the full price, which I was pretty shocked about, but I accepted it, since this was our only option.

We were close to signing up for a new membership together with our now 1-year old. But now I a glad we didn't:

Today, Saturday, I decided once again to take the baby for a swim at this sports complex. I paid the $24 entrance fee, just to find out after entering the pool facility, that there was a childrens' birthday party going on in the pool area.

I sit down, by the side of the pool and wait, already being angry, that the receptionist upon entering and paying the $24 fee for the two of us, did not mention a thing about this. After waiting for 20 minutes both the baby and I are cold and frustrated and decide to leave. But since the GM of the place is around, I confront him and ask him for a refund or such. He basically laughs in my face and tells me "no" outright. He also says, that the receptionist did nothing wrong and that I was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Further more he says, that his members come first (which the people in the party apparently were) and that the gym depends on such income. Since I was not a member I had to understand this.

No appology, no customer service!
