Tall good looking waiters, funny, somehow kitsch, food good. Zodiac is fun, I love the tall Hellenic waiters! Food is good, generous portions, I like the salmon filet with the famous Greek lemon potatos, Greek salat is very good too, and around 10PM music starts. you can buy flowers from the flower girl and throw them to the people on the next table, this is customary and is a sign of friendship. Young people dance in the room, but there are also some older people dancing around and this is fun. Easy to reach by subway, I always hang at the bar. .

best place to get astma attack from smoking. We waited about half and hour for the waiter and another 1 1/2 hours for the food.

If you like to eat and smoke at the same time this is the place for you.

You will be floating in a cloud of smoke even if the place supposed to be non smoking like every restaurant in NY state.

And if you complaint it will not help.

Help them understand NY state non smoking law and lets not go there.

I must say that the show and the music are great

worst service. The bartender did not have a clue of how to make a smartini although I went over the ingredients, she was rude and on top of it after I requested to see a manager he just did not show any signs of caring I was upset at the service.

will never go back again.

Zodiac Cafe. It was a very good restaurant. The music began at 10:30 pm and went on until well after midnight (we had to call it quits long before it ended). The evening we attended a country Greek wedding reception was being held upstairs, with Bouzuki (sp) music, country dancing, and a great deal of celebration. It was a good place for couples, families with children, and anyone who enjoys a good time.

Used to be better!. It is a cute place to hang out and grab a cup of coffee.. however it has more of an older crowd, and is rarely crowded. They don't have music, and the service is very slow. The one plus is that they do have Valet parking, which can save you a ton of time in Astoria. Simply tip the guy $2-$3 and you are all set.

Not impressed. I liked the looks of this place, but was not impressed with the food or drink. The octopus salad I had was chewy and tough and the drinks were not impressive.

Mediterranean treats are in your horoscope at this upscale Greek diner and nightspot.. In Short
Despite the tacky Hellenic decor, replete with faux columns and signs of the zodiac carved into plaster walls, this Greek restaurant and bar bursts with authenticity when it comes to menu and atmosphere. Its two massive rooms are frequented predominantly by Greeks who chow down on traditional mezze--spinach pie, feta cheese and stuffed grape leaves--and entrees--kebabs, sandwiches and pasta dishes. At night, Zodiac transforms into an area hot spot, featuring live Greek music to entertain the well-dressed and well-lubricated crowd.
