Its a fun bar with nice people. The Bar Tenders are sweet.....the owners take care of you and the patrons are cool. Great bands and kareoke on Saturdays for everyone and Big football Sundays for the gents. Overall you'll have fun at Courtyard! If you live in Queens you should go and check it out!

Excellent Local Hangout

Lived around the corner for several years and it's by far my favorite watering hole in Sunnyside. The crowd is diverse and you can basically chat up anyone. The enclosed beer garden is enjoyable even in winter and the bartenders are extremely courteous, sometimes generous. The music on Saturday and Sunday nights are usually classic rock oriented and the jukebox is good at any time. Great for sporting events as TV's are everywhere.

cozy, friendly, irish bar

I first came to this bar on a bad day to drink a beer on the first bar closer to my home. After 5 minutes the barman had cheermed up so much that I wasn't thinking about anything else and in another 5 minutes I was talking to almost everybody there, playing darts and drinking guinness. I still go there but now it's every wednesday not only on sad days. Oh, but there is no food, it's a drinking only bar. But if you are hungry go to a dinner. Oh, and it has a nice jukebox, dart board and one arcade.

• Pros: friendly, good beer, cozy
• Cons: no pool table, closes at 4 am
