Cheery Civil Service Haven. McCann's is a great looking pub, with TVs in every corner of the bar playing every imaginable sporting event. The food is pub grub with a twist. I had a cheeseburger, and the fries were better than the burger and the bun was a little big. It's a great place to grab a pint, watch the game, and sit next to a cop.

Excellent Bar!.
Just moved to Astoria (luckily on the same block as McCann's).
Went for the first time last night and it was a blast!!! Great staff, great drinks....and the %@$ load of TV sets doesn't hurt either!

Great Bar. I could live in this bar if I didn't have to work. The staff is great - always friendly. they have excellent beer on tap, darts, and 2 pool tables in the back. Can't go wrong with this place! Plus its a half a block from my house, so that helps too....
