Cheap, Unique, Uber Dive. Always find some people willing to make convo with. Everytime it is a different experience. Uber dive, but that's ok. Irish bartender is fun and she will put you in your place if you not careful. Pretty sure you can bring in your own food, since they don't serve. Only on St. Patty's day where they have a buffet dinner deal.

Dumpy, dirty -- but it's home. Look into the corners and cracks of this bar and you'll find a lot of dirt and filth. Small portions, small glasses. A bit hard to get inebriated, as drinks are usually a bit weak.

But the juke box is always ready for fun, and you're liable to meet several people who will converse with you.

On the other hand, the regulars are mostly boring, bewhiskered old barflys.

On the other-other hand, it's home, and you'll always be made to feel welcome.

A classic pub under the shadow of Astoria's elevated train tracks.. In Short
The pub flirts with dive bar status, in all of the good ways: The locals show up early, get drunk, and in the words of the sassy Irish lass of a bartender, "The abuse is free." Christmas lights slightly brighten the green-walled space where the wooden bar is the only notable feature. There are no happy hours. Beers on tap include Guinness, Bass, Harp and Miller, and the well-stocked bar has about every brand of vodka, Scotch and whiskey under the sun--a good thing because shots are a drink of choice.
