Best Liquor store in Astoria, stay away from floor salesman

One of the few gems left in Astoria. Great selection of wine & liquor and a few things that I never even knew were available, just stay away from the short fat bald guy , Rude , abnoxious and doesnt seem to care unless the owner is there.The stock boys are more helpfull and honest

You wouldn't think it, but it's fantastic

From the outside, it looks like a standard neighborhood liquor store.

However, inside, Jolson's is one of the most underrated wine stores in New York, with a stunning selection of wines around the globe, a VERY strong range of mid-priced bottles, and a nice cellar area for premium bottles (if you're into that kind of thing).

The two people to ask for, Paul or Iggy, give great recommendations, and are always good to chat. And they will ALWAYS order in any bottle you request.

A wonderful store, well worth visiting!
