Veeeery sketchy. We went for our anniversary, first thing we noticed was it was completely empty on Friday night (sure enough, it?s Astoria, folks go out late). Then waiter kept telling us where the bathroom is for over and over, I had to wonder do we have to use bathroom for?what reason??? Food was okay, nothing special, kinda like senior center?s food.

Great service, great ambiance, terrific food. A definite must go to in Astoria. The service is tremendous, the prices are average and the food is excellent. My favorite is the eggplant rollatini!!! The best. The fried calamari is great, as is the stuff mushrooms. Any entree you get will fill you up. A definite great date restaurant. Must try if you haven't...

Great party place !!!!. I have been going to Bartolino's for years since I am a native Astorian. My favorite which I have never had anywhere better is the fried calamari. I have always enjoyed my meals there and I have had such great times there I insisted that my baby shower to be held there. My guests were amazed at how a neighborhood restaurant could service a party of my magnatude. Even my relatives from Italy were impressed by the authentic dishes and their sauce is "better than mine"said my Aunt Mary from Capaci... SO whether it is a romantic dinner for two or a family event never to be forgotten the serivce, the food , the locale and decor suits the bill. Prices are reasonalbe for the neighborhood and needless to say me and baby enjoyed every bite...

a WonDeRFuL ItaLiAn ResTuaRant. This a Terrifc Restuarant, The food is great, the prices are extremly fair.

The service is phenomenal , its very romantic, and the fireplace just warms up the whole setting.

It's a good place for just a romantic dinning out or for Larges partys.

I highly recommend this restuarant !!!

save your money and avoid!. This is definitely overpriced for Astoria. Dinner for two with no drinks came to $70. The portions were average size, not enough to eat half and bag the rest. Also they calculated my tax wrong so think twice before you leave a tip. On the plus, the service was attentive and friendly, don't think that justifies the price though.

Go into the city for these prices...!!!. The food is mediocre. The service leaves you with more to be desired. The owner is an arrogant pig. He gawks at all women who walk into his restaurant. Although the decor is kinda nice. It's cozy with a fireplace. The desserts are not made on the premises. He is overpriced for Queens. If you want to eat better food and at least pay for what it's worth - do not eat here. There are so many more restaurants to eat at for these prices. His portions are also small.

Great Italian!. I highly recommend the fried calamari and the veal parmagian...they give you a huge portion, very nice! The service is very good, extremely perfessional. It's also very romantic. Most importantly the prices are great!

Astoria Gem. This is a great place to dine in Astoria. They offer a fairly large menu, the prices are spot on and the service is always top notch. No matter what you order, you're almost certain to get so much food you'll be leaving with a doggie bag. Make sure you try the Eggplant Rollatini, too. Yum. If you live in the neighborhood, you have no excuse for not trying it.
