Only warrants a visit for breakfast or brunch on a Sunday. Service is excellent but this place only warrants a visit for breakfast or brunch on a Sunday. Other items on the menu are way overpriced for the area and for the quality/taste of the food. If they hired a decent/better chef then they could charge those prices.

Great menu!. This is a great place with loads of variety on the menu. Sanfords has tasty food and good service. The only problem is they do not take credit cards and since the prices are a bit higher than average diners it's a shame that you have to have that much cash on you.

Great find. I love the sanford. This place is a cross between diner and restaurant. I love the menu and the service is always friendly and quick

the way i was dealt with left me really annoyed and frustrated. sorry guys i dunno what this place is like 2 eat in but i will never order off them again twice in the space of a month have they screwed my order up. the first time they forgot half the stuff and i told the delivery boy i wasnt takin it so i rang them back and informed them. they said it would delivered again so i said fair enough anyone can make a mistake so the 15 mins went buy then 20 then 30 at this stage runnin late for work so i rang back . only to be told that the delivery boy didn want to go back with it . i was like shocked not only had they not the manners to ring and inform me instead of me sittin around waiting for food that wasnt gonna come . they asked me then did i want it delivered. now i was like are these guys for real totally unprofessional . needless to say i declined .3 weeks later i ring in an order a simple thing of 2 items an surprise surprise its not what i ordered . i rang them up to be told im sorry well get it right the next time .well sanfords there aint gonna be a next time cause your customer service over the phone is far from professional . i would like to point out that i never had a problem with the food at sanfords was always good . but guys if ur gonna run a delivery service at least deliver what people order its not our fault if one of your staff mess up .

I love Sanford's!. Love this place. Go there almost every weekend for breakfast. Everything is delicious. One of the best spots in the neighborhood.

More than just an ordinary diner. I first went with a hungry friend in one late afternoon. I had focaccia sandwich while my friend had grilled chicken mushroom rissotto. In the beginning I thought the price was a bit high for a local diner. But turned out the food was unexpectedly delicious (risotto was tastier than sandwich, if you have a big appetite). I'm not a rice person but their risotto was so good that I had returned for a couple times ordering just it until one time I started to venture into the pasta section, and I haven't been disappointed once. I especially like their pastas in red sauce. I live in the neighborhood. It's the place I go when I want to reward myself with great hearty food. One thing to warn you: their pasta portions are big. I never left the restaurant without having to bring home a doggy bag. I haven't tried their brunch, partly because their coffee is a bit weak to me. (frankly, bel air makes better coffee so I usually go there for brunch)

Slow kitchen. We went there for Friday night, and had to wait over 30 minutes before our appetizer arrived. We ordered from pre-fix. Our waitress was really nice gal, but the kitchen was super slow. I was watching other tables, some tables got food really quick, some didn?t (even when we were leaving, one table had no food for over 45 minutes) Seemed uninformed service there.

At the end the manager showed up and apologized, and our waitress was really nice, so for their good customer service we may try again.

I really like what they are trying to do on the menu, and food seem to catch up. It?s just they have really slow kitchen....

Bananas Xangos for President. I live blocks away and eat here all the time. Amazing food, great value... did I mention that they deliver for free? AND THE BANANAS XANGOS WILL MAKE YOUR KNEES WEAK!!

Amazing Food. I've eaten here numerous times since moving here and I'm never disappointed. The food is original and incredibly tasty. The service is friendly and the prices are excellent. It looks like just your average diner on the outside, but the food is that of a more upscale restaurant.
