I really hate giving bad reviews, but the facial I got at this spa was LAME. Two stars is generous. There were hardly any extractions at all and she skipped the electronic zapper tool afterwards-- not sure why. She talked incessantly about their other services and about how I should switch from the makeup I was using (that I had very good results with) to the line they had just started carrying, even though she couldn't even recall the name of the ingredient she was so avidly against. The most irritating part was that she sprayed some kind of oil on my face to massage my face after it was done--- which would have been great if I had come in to get a massage, but that's not why I pay to get facials. Plus the oily coat left on my skin made me wonder what the point was. Overall I left with my face feeling dirty instead of cleansed of impurities. I don't know why I decided to try this place when I usually go to Smith Street spa and they do an outstanding job. Bottom line, massage might be amazing there, but for professionalism and a thorough job in terms of facials, i'd DEFINITELY skip this place.

Pros: nice ambient light

Cons: unprofessional, overly sales-pitchy, lack of knowledge

I recently took my girlfriend here for a couples massage, and we had a wonderful time. Both of our therapists were attentive and skilled. We were unavoidably late by a few minutes because of the difficulty finding a parking spot on Atlantic Ave.. The desk staff told us we might have to miss a few minutes of massage time, but that they would try to get us our entire massage time. They got us our entire time, and were cheerful about it. We'll definitely be going back here.

Pros: Couples massage(!), Nice atmosphere, convenient hours.

Cons: Parking
