Secret Local Gem in Midtown.. I tasted sake before in several places but I didn't really enjoy it honestly so I thought I was not a sake person. HOWEVER, after I tried the sake at Kirakuya, I just can't stop thinking about it. Kirakuya is located in Midtown. Once you get in, you feel like you were in a totally different place. I mean..just hard to explain... I love its interior and atmosphere. There is a sake sommelier so maybe that's why the food was so good with their sake. The pairing was just perfect. I kind of want to keep this place in secret cuz...I want it to be my secret spot. lol but I have to say that this place is definitely something.
