Quick Byte's Steve Lastoe has saved me so many times I ought to be erect a statue in his honor. From bringing my computer back from the dead to setting up my operating system, from resurrecting my hard drive and saving lost/deleted files, to replacing my keyboard after my son poured nail polish remover into it, and done it all with great speed, infinite patience and good humor. The fact that Lastoe can pick up the computer at your house, or can work in your home when feasible, and deliver the machine when it's done has been a enormous help to me. Ditto the fact that he thinks about your wallet, researching your options thoroughly and offering you the best deals possible on parts. Not only that he provides a free newsletter to his clients--yes, he grouses a lot about backing up your files--offering all sorts of indispensable info. I feel incredibly lucky to know Lastoe and Quick Byte, and you should be so lucky too....

Very reliable, friendly, efficient service. As a writer who works at home I have called on Steve on numerous occasions for a variety of different computer problems; his help was also invaluable in setting up our home network. I recommend Quickbyte with enthusiasm.
