Overview
Not to be confused with the New York Botanical Garden, the BBG occupies 52 green acres right next to Prospect Park. In addition to more than 10,000 different kinds of plants in its outdoor and indoor collections, the garden is renowned for its C.V. Starr Bonsai Museum, one of the oldest and largest collection of the dwarf potted trees in the country. The nation's first Garden for the Blind is filled with dozens of brilliantly scented and textured plants. One of the garden's main attractions for spring is its more than 220 cherry trees; with more than 40 different varieties, it's the largest collection in one area. There's also an assortment of ice cream treats in the snack bar.
Features

I love the botanical garden, because it takes u away from the concrete jungle of BROOKLYN..its soothing, romantic array of organic flowers are absolutely breathtaking. I love goin to the garden on the weekends with my fiance' and our children...because they get to pick the type of flowers they want to take home and plant in our own garden. I would recommend anyone go just for a romantic outing or just to get some solitude. Its also PERFECT for weddings
Pros: EVERYTHING
Cons: NOTHING
