AL'S HEATING SERVICE/ AL LAKAS IS ONE BAD INDIVIDUAL. HE WILL TAKE YOUR DEPOSIT AND NEVER DO ANY WORK. YOU MUST NEVER DEAL WITH THIS THIEF. HE AND HIS WORKERS HAVE NO LICENSES. HE HAS BEEN ON "SHAME ON YOU" FOX- 5 TWO TIMES. GO TO THERE WEB SITE AND TAKE A LOOK AT THE 2 SEGMENTS. HE HAS A NEVER ENDING LIST OF JUDGEMENTS AND ONGOING LAWSUITS AT THE QUEENS CIVIL COURTS. Called this outfit after my sister's water-heater sprung a leak in January. Al comes and starts spinning stories about sickness and overdue bills and he ends taking a $1200 cash advance. My sister always had a good heart but she gots sucked into the scam. Long story short, Al takes the money never returns and now we is suing. Check out every contractor no matter what !

All the good reviews are all fake. This man is a scammer of the worst kind. Stay away or at least call the Queens County Court at 718 262 7300 and ask before calling Al The Scammer. He moved from Queens to Nassau.

I personally paid to Al 3000 dollars in advance to install a new full furnace system in my house. He promesed me to star working in no more than 2 weeks. However, weeks passed, and excuses after excuses he simply didn't show up and now I suing him.
