Love this Place. I go to this place at least once a week for the past 14 years.. They have the largest sushi menu plus will make it your way. There sushi has always been fresh. they have a large turnover. They always make you feel welcome.

Eat at your own risk. You're rolling the dice when you eat at Ginza.

Sometimes the fish is fresh. Sometimes you feel like you're eating fish from last week.

There are better choices for sushi in the Flushing/Bayside area.

Terrible sashimi. The sashimi were cut into small cubes. The scallop was not fresh. Overall it was just not a very good experience. Compared to fresh sashimi we have eaten in many other Japanese restaurants, this was not worth trying..

Love This Place!!. I come to this place atleast twice a month. I have been to alot of sushi places in the area including Kyoto (which is also good) but the sushi here is always good and they have a huge selection. The service is great and the sushi chiefs, Peter and Kevin are always friendly and welcoming. If you like mango try the CAS roll, butcher roll if you like calamari, and if you like spicy food try any of the sushi with sriracha sauce instead of wasabi and soy sauce.

One of THE best sushi places in the world. No joke, I have eaten here more than 100 times. I won't repeat what else has been said, but I will recommend you try two things.

Number one is their spicy tuna roll. I've never eaten anywhere else in the world that made a better spicy tuna roll. And it's not just good, it's incredible.

Second, if you're particularly daring, although it's not for everyone, try ordering "jellyfish salad" (it's not on the menu). Always a great starter.

Come with a sense of adventure. These guys are always willing to try new things on you.

Best place to satisfy your sushi fix!. My husband and I first saw a good review for this place 2 years ago when we moved to Queens and decided to try it out. It was fantastic! Since then we make sure we go at least a couple times a month. After trying other restaurants, including the high end ones in Manhattan, we always come back to Ginza; there is no comparison. The fish is always fresh. The roll options are endless, or just create your own with some inspiration from the hundreds on the boards. After 2 years, there are still rolls we haven't tried yet. The service is always friendly, and never rushed. You have to ask for the check when you are ready; not like some places where they are shoving you out the door as soon as they clear the plates. The dining room is small, so if you are planning on going on a Fri or Sat night, call ahead for a table. Otherwise the takeout/delivery is also fantastic.

As other reviewers mentioned, this is not a romatic or fancy place. If you want a place to go on a nice date, try something in Manhattan (Nobu, Tao, etc). This is comfortable "blue jeans and paper napkins" restaurant, great to bring the kids, or have a fun dinner with friends.

Best sushi in Queens! Great selection.. Friendly staff.. Casual atmosphere... I'm a huge sushi fan.. been to many high end sushi places all over the world.. this place by far is one of the best for the money.. Not to mention the friendly family owned and run atmosphere. The owner/chef Peter is awesome.. will make anything and I do mean any sushi you want.. which is not really necessary just pick any of the hundreds of different selections on the board. This is not a place to sit down and have a quiet romantic dinner.. I recommend this place for the sushi buffs who wants to satisfy the palate.. Great appetizers too! Service could be a little slow depends what day you go.. busy take out orders.. to me only means great turn over for fresh sashimi.

Best and Most Original Rolls in NYC. I first came to this palce in 1995 and have been back at least once a month since. The sushi is original and generally very good. Now they can even make your sushi with brown rice, which is really good. If you go try the following rolls: Amanda, Juliet, Moda, John Carlo, Murder Inc, or the Butcher. You'll thank me.

Best Sushi. This little place is great for regulars, otherwise you might be confused (like the other reviwers). The ambiance is friendly, the chefs usually stop and great you with a big HELLO, then the waitress welcomes you and tells you to sit wherever you'd like.

You can create and name your own rolls or choose from a bunch of personalized ones on the menu. I like the variety and havent seen this in any other sushi restaurant. The prices are very reasonable as well. I am never disappointed.

Worth a shot. me and the boyfriend ordered 5 rolls- 2 of them were wonderful (the King Kong and Where is Charmine, we think they allow regulars to name new rolls), 1 was mediocre, and the last 2 were TERRIBLE. one made me gag once I putit in my mouth. My bf tried it too and he thinks the mayo was expired. Its not romantic, but the service is friendly after they start recognizing you. Its not particularly CLEAN, but its tolerable (I had to clean a bit of dirt off). We gave it an 8 even though less than 50% of our food was good. Why? because they have over 100 special rolls to choose from, and frmo the menu I can take a guess that you can even order a roll with whatever you want in it. Maybe we just happened to order 2 of the worst rolls on the menu. Try to get rolls that are more cooked than raw, because their raw didn't seem too fresh which may have also contributed to the suckiness of the last two rolls. Ginza is worth a try, its not that expensive, and with such a lengthy menu you're sure to find something that you like, even if youre not a big Sushi fan.
