An airport-convenient hotel with new touches.. The Scene
Individually-owned, franchised hotels always have special exacting touches, and this Ramada is no exception. It has a stone facade, new windows and carpeting, and a 35-year track record of offering comfortable, value-oriented accommodations in probably the friendliest borough in NYC.

The Details
The 105 mid-sized rooms are divided between two buildings, making this full-service hotel seem almost quaint and provincial, an attitude that suits the exceptionally friendly service. The hotel has a banquet room (complete with chandeliers) that can be rented for conferences and parties. The Marbella Restaurant and Lounge off the lobby offers a place to sneak a cup of coffee amid the weekday madness, which is far more sedate than anything you'll find in Manhattan. The off-site health club is open 24 hours.
