Good Place.
This salon does do a great job compared to the other salons in the area.
Great cut and color.
Only big one negative - When I got my hair cut I didn't expect for someone else to blow out my hair. The place I usually went to had the same person do both jobs. Since I wasn't aware of this, and it was my first time, I had to split the tip money to the lady who cut my hair and to the girl who blew my hair out.
I recently went back and she totally ignored me. My second time back and I'm already feeling uncomfortable..? No I didn't have my hair cut this time, but I did leave a generous tip well.
Didn't understand the attitude from her. Too bad b/c she really cuts hair great. I'm forgetting the important part- her name was chris or chrissy...not sure.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this shop.
First off I need to explain..IM PICKY! I have been to other salons and have always left unhappy because I didnt get what I asked for.
Studio Z has the right formula of communication and talent,wrap that all together with warm and friendly..now there you have a winning combination!
Victoria does my color and always makes my hair the color I want, leaving my hair healthy and shiny as well. I must mention that Victoria is a pleasure to deal with and always has a smile for me.
Tatiana,who I adore! did EXTENSIONS for me...wow I love them!! the girl knows what she is doing, she made my hair look amazing and natural no matter how its styled.. curly or straight.Tatiana also styles my hair,when ever I leave there I walk out looking and feeling like a million dollars and I always get tons of compliments.
Christine the owner does beautiful extensions for my sister...and is the reason I wanted to get extentions for myself. Stephanie the manager is a doll, very helpful,and always answers any questions I may have. I really cant say enough about this shop. You wont be disappointed!!

Great Salon!. I love this salon. I drive all the way from New Jersey and have done so for years! It is a gem: a Manhattan salon in Queens w/o Manhattan prices. Friendly, talented stylists, a superb colorist and everyone is up on the latest trends. The jewelry is an added bonus.

FINALLY, A QUEENS SALON THAT KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!. Started going here about 2 years ago with very damaged hair. Now, you would never know it!! They have since fixed my mess and actually know what they are doing. Other salons in Queens are very simple and give you the basics, but not here!! Sudio Z has great service and professionalizim. The atmosphere is relaxing. Victoria one of the colorists is fantastic and Christine with her talent and knowledge of extensions is unbelievable. I get a tremendous amount of compliments on my hair. Stephanie always greets you with a smile and always answers any questions on the phone you may have. Last but not least, my blowout girl Lena, she is a doll, enjoys doing hair and it shows. My blowouts are always exactly what I want.

Excellent Service with a very pleasent atmosphere.
After years of having long dark color treated hair - I needed a makeover - Scary! - Extremely difficult to change - much easier to stay old and in 1980 - but, I did it - many thanks to the head honcho (Christine) - I was a NEW woman -
Short, short and just terrific - a style just for me - make-up - just for me - After that, highlites and even extentions - who would think - extentions with short hair - she did it and with highlights - fantastic - I'm always receiving a tremendous amount of smiles and compliments, not only from the staff but my family and friends - every week I can get a simple wash and blowdry - changing the style and feeling another NEW all over again. Just a great and up feeling. Thanks Chris.
PS - I'm (60) years young.

My New Stylist, Lori!. After nine years with Alex on Union Tpke and 4 other stylists in 9 months since, I stumbled onto Lori by a fluke because her sister was backed up and she offered to cut my hair and you know what, she did a wonderful job! She is the female version of my beloved Alex and therefore, I have stopped looking for a stylist! She is joyful, precise and knows how to style a haircut according to my face and is as artsy as I loved with Alex. I know that I will be able to sit in her chair and maybe just direct her as to the length I want and she will keep my cuts fresh and up to date and keep the compliments coming once again! Oh, and Stephanie, the salon receptionist, she is the best and knows her stuff! I drilled her when I first called and she told me to see either Christine or Lori and wow!, was she right on target!

Lori is the best. I am not a big salon person. My last haircut was six months ago. My friend tried Studio Z and raved about Lori who ended up styling her hair by chance (she had an appointment with another stylist who was busy). I decided to give in and go to Lori for a haircut. Boy, was I glad that I ever did. This was a great experience. I felt comfortable there and Lori gave me a great haircut. I will definitely be going back to Lori.

Top of the line Service Salon.
I came in for another excuse for a blowout
and found the Staff to be very warm and
friendly.The decor is cool and food service
is good. The owner Christine is a complete
proffessional ,nice and a talented artist. I walked out with some extensions and looked
hot.I was very well taken care of. Great place.
Husband loved my hair.

The Best Full Service Salon in Queens--No need to go anywhere else!. I have been going to StudioZ for over 10 years. It has always been a welcoming, friendly and professional salon. All of the "clients" are treated with respect and are made to feel very comfortable. In all of my visits, I have never seen an unhappy customer. Christine makes sure that only the best service is extended to each person who walks through the door. My new gloss coloring and cut is once again beyond expectations. I have always recommended StudioZ to anyone with any type of hair needs. I never have to worry about having hair that is too thick. I have seen straight, thin, curly hair transformed during my visits. I could never consider any other salon. We are lucky to have such a full service salon in Bayside. StudioZ is truly a jewel in Queens.
