BEST SUSHI. Tomi Sushi is soo good! I get cravings for it all the time. My mother will even drive all the way from Westchester to eat there. They have the best service. We're always greeted with a sincere smile. Their "hwe dup bap" (sashimi rice salad bowl) is AMAZING, as well as their crab puffs filled with cream cheese. YUM! Give this place a try and you will never go to another sushi restaurant again.
BEST SUSHI I EVER HAD..
Just moved from New Jersey to Little Neck and looking for a sushi resturant and found two along Northern Blvd. One was Sushi Family and the other one was TOMI Sushi. Wow~~ the taste at TOMI just blew me away. I never had so many different choices of rolls. My favorite rolls were Downtown and Godzilla.
Very welcoming enviroment. Definately will go back.!!!!!!!
See you soon TOMI !
Best AYCE in the area....
Tomi is my favorite sushi resturant!! and I LOVE sushi!! Everyone in my neighborhood goes there and loves it!! They have incredible rolls, all different kinds, and the fish is super fresh 98% of the time (I Have found that Sunday nights are the best!) I go there at least once a week...I love their AYCE menu, it is the most extensive I have seen, and they are very accomodating (add cucumber, leave out avocado, put in tempura flakes, etc) The AYCE dinner is $21.95, and lunch $18.95. The staff is friendly and usually attentive. They know all their regulars by name (and by order!) and treat them very well! I am always greeted by a friendly face...Service is typically very quick (depending on how crowded it is in there...friday and saturday nights are usually pretty busy)...they claim to have a $1.00 per piece left over charge, although I've never actually had them charge me for anything. If you're not abusing the special they're pretty nice about everything...
This is, however, not the place to go to for ambviance (sp? sorry). It is very basic, not romantic or fancy, just a really good little sushi place with creative rolls. I highly recommend the Mt. Fuji roll, the Payroll, and the American Dream roll!! Enjoy :) Ask for Kathy, shes wonderful!!
Oh, and its not in Flushing...its in Little Neck....Big Difference!!!
User review by teeheehahalol. This is one of the better sushi places in Queens even though it is a little small. I've been going there for about 2 years now and I have to say that their "Godzilla" Roll is to die for...it just melts in your mouth....mmm....delicious!
