GREAT NEW YORK PIZZA!!. Sals has GREAT pizza!!! My family has been ordering from Sal's since I was a kid. It's a family run business, and you can totally tell. The food is consistently excellent, and the staff is always friendly...they know everyone in my family by face! Fairly basic pizzera menu, but they do it well. Their entree dishes are also wonderful, always arrive quickly and piping hot! They're very good about special orders (my dad can be a pain in the...) and are right around the corner. Definitely worth a try...

Sal's is in Little Neck, though...not in Flushing!

Fabulizza. Sals is a great addition to the tradition of GREAT New York pizza and should at the top of anyones list. This coming from a born and bred New Yorker!!!!

Just like Mama's- only better!!. Sal's Little Neck Pizza not only serves THE BEST cheese pizza I have ever tasted, it also has a "down-home" feel and friendly service to boot.

As for Sal, well he's as Italian as they come-- trust him on his picks for pizza-- SAL KNOWS BEST!

Do I see a franchise opportunity here?!

YOU'LL NEVER FIND BETTER PIZZA!. Sal's pizza is the best thin-crust pizza you'll find on the eastern seaboard. The ratio of cheese (part skim milk) to sauce results in a brilliant balance of taste. The crust is present, but not overpowering and is always a welcome finish to the slice. The owner, Salvatore Leo, has been feeding Little Neck for 27 years with both pizza and his theories on everything from Reaganomics to car mechanics. The pizzeria is a throwback to the days of the small pizza parlor and is frequented by friendly regulars. Even regulars who moved out of the area years ago come back for his legendary slice. So definitely stop by this pizza jointbut don't piss off Sal by ordering anything too complicated. Here, it's all about the pizza. And if you want pineapple on your slice, bring your own.
