Great Food, Drinks and Crowd. A recent visit to Iguanas made for a fantastic time. Our party of 5 were all impressed with the excellent taste and presentation of our dinners. The drink selection was impressive and all our drinks well made and the tap beers frosty and well priced.

Major Disappointment. My wife and I went to Iguana's for the first time on Friday the 13th of November, (maybe that was our first mistake). In a nutshell, the service was sub-par, we waited 35 minutes for our food after we had ordered and the food itself, was just okay. I expected better tasting food. And lastly, some of the food is over-priced. I ordered the dish "Fit for a King" and there's no way that it was worth the $19 price. Be careful how and what you order.

We will not be going back!

Wonderful food and drinks!. The service was great, food was amazing, and drink menu is crazy good! Def will be going here again!

I'VE DIED AND GONE TO TEQUILA HEAVEN.LARGEST SELECTION ON THE PLANET, WOW!!!!!. HAS ANYONE SEEN THIS? HOLY S**T THE LARGEST TEQUILA SELECTION ON THE PLANET.THERE IS A TEQUILA MUSEUM ON THE PREMISES AND I WAS GIVEN A TOUR BY THE OWNER,I JUST SIMPLY ASKED AND HE SAID NO PROBLEM AND ANY QUESTION I ASKED HE ANSWERED WITHOUT FLINCHING.DID YOU KNOW THAT THERE IS NO WORM IN TEQUILA BUT ONLY IN MEZCALS? I DIDN'T EITHER BUT I DO NOW! EVEN THOUGH HE SHOWED ME A BOTTLE OF TEQUILA WITH A WORM IN IT HE TOLD ME THAT IT WAS RARE AGAIN BECAUSE IT ONLY COMES IN MEZCALS.I EVEN SAW A BOTTLE WITH A SCORPION IN IT. ALSO ,THEY HAVE OVER 1,400 TEQUILAS ALL DIFFERENT,NO REPEATS (UNHEARD OF) AND THEY HAD THE WRITE UP DISPLAYED FROM A MAGAZINE TO PROVE IT. NOW THE FOOD AWESOME.I TRIED THE BURRITOS WITH STEAK AND MY FRIEND HAD THE CHICKEN ENCHILADAS AND WE WASHED IT DOWN WITH ICE COLD CORONAS(WHAT ELSE? AND THE OWNER PUT US ON TO MECHILADAS(I HOPE I SPELLED IT RIGHT) ANYWAY,IT CONSISTS OF CORONA,FRESH LIME,A DASH OF TABASCO SERVED OVER ICE WITH A SALT RIMMED GLASS AWESOME!!.THE FOOD WAS JUST AS GOOD AS 5 BORO CAFE IN FOREST HILLS.THE WAITER WAS GREAT AND FUNNY. DID I MENTION THE NICE LOOKING FEMALE BARTENDERS? NICE! I ALSO TRIED THE NEW CABO WABO TEQUILA (CABO UNO) IT WAS SERVED IN A LARGE COGNAC GLASS AND I WAS TOLD TO SIP IT AND NOT SHOOT IT.NO SALT OR LEMON FOR THIS TEQUILA EITHER. AT $25 OR $30 WHO WAS CHUGGING IT ANYWAY.IT WAS WORTH THE EXPERIENCE AS THE OWNER SAID TO ME IT'S NOT THE PRICE IT'S THE EXPERIENCE OF IT WHEN TRYING FINE TEQUILAS. I ALSO HAD THE PLEASRE OF READING THE OTHER REVIEWS OF THIS PLACE AND LUVBOOBOO HAS NO IDEA WHAT HE/SHE IS TALKING ABOUT.THEY WERE PROBABLY ON THEIR PERIOD,FOR SOMEONE TO SAY THAT FOOD IN GENERAL IS A PILE OF S**T OBVIOUSLY HAS NO CLASS AND SHOULD STAY HOME ANYWAY WHO WANTS TO GO OUT AND BE AROUND NEGATIVE , IGNORANT PEOPLE? DO YOURSELF A FAVOR PEOPLE GO CHECK THIS PLACE OUT AND BRING A CAMERA ONE OF THE BEST DECORATED MEXICAN PLACES IN N.Y. GO SEE FOR YOURSELVES. A+ ALL THE WAY EVERYONE AT IGUANAS IS AWESOME.

AVOID ANYTIME. The food was awful. I ordered a combo, and it was literally a huge pile of S** on a plate. It was so unappetizing. My boyfriend ordered a meat and shrimp combo. They used the tiny frozen shrimp and placed a huge amount on top and it literally looked like bait. The chef refused to take the order back eventhough the shrimp tasted funny. The staff was nice, but the food was disgusting. I lost my appetite just looking at it. It was the WORST experience I have had.

Excellent Mexican restaurant!. I love this place! It has become my favorite Mexican restaurant in the NYC area. It's more authentic Mexican, not Tex-Mex. The staff is very friendly, the service is great and I found it a great place for an impromptu dinner out or little dinner party with friends. Take the kids, they love it too (especially the iguana in the tank by the entrance)!
