An airport-convenient motel that emphasizes cleanliness.. The Scene
The pretty flowerbeds and wrought-iron exterior can't hide the fact that this is a motel. But belonging to this often-maligned category of lodging isn't necessarily a bad thing, given the attention the owners pay to this place. Inside, the smell is of foliage and new paint, since constant renovations keep the interiors as tidy as the exteriors.

The Details
This is the closest you'll get to La Guardia Airport while still being surrounded by residences. This doesn't mean you can escape the cars rushing by on busy Astoria Boulevard, though. Rooms are clean and offer pale-colored bathrooms, comfortable beds, brass-fixtured furniture and plenty of light. There are nice touches that you don't often find in other motels, such as coffee makers and quiet air conditioning.
