LPC is back and better than ever.......for sure!. I have been patronizing LPC for 16 years. This place was fabulous and was always our favorite. It has suffered a decline over the past few years. The good news is that we had dinner there last week, and it was fabulous. Just like the good old days and maybe even better. The quality of the food was exceptionally good and very tasty. The new management team is doing extensive remodeling and it appears they are real professionals and are doing all the right things. I am so delighted to see this ressurection of my favorite restaurant, that I could scream. Please......give them another try, I promise you won't be dissappointed. Good luck to LPC!

Surprised!!!!. I felt like I walked into the wrong restaurant. I have been going there for almost 15 years and the place was on a decline. It seems like the management has changed. Food is amazing and the decor has changed. They were still renovating but was told they would be done by July 4th. Strongly recommend.

USED to be great. I've been going to this place for at least 20 of my 29 years and i must sadly say that it's been on the decline for a very long time. born here but spent many years on and off in colombia....this restaurant used to be very authentic and always bustling, sometimes you had to wait over 30 minutes for a table. it's one of the oldest colombian restaurants in the area but maybe they got too comfortable and didn't realize that competition was mounting quickly. back in the 80's you had few choices for colombian food but now there are tons all over this part of queens so everyone had to step up their game and unfortunately LPC fell thru the cracks. take a stroll further down Roosevelt for much better choices.

terrible. THIS SUNDAY I DIDNT KNOW WHERE TO GO AND I DECIDED BECAUSE OF A REVIEW THAT SUGGEST THIS WAS A REALLY GOOD RESTAURANT. I AM COLOMBIAN SO I GUESS I KNOW ABOUT THIS KIND OF FOOD. THE SERVICE WAS REGULAR TO BAD. THE FOOD WAS REALLY BAD WE ORDER MOJARRA FRITA AND CARNE CON CHAMPINONES. THE MOJARRA FRITA WAS DRY, THE PATACONES THAT CAME WITH THAT WERE BURN. THE CARNE CON CHAMPINONES (BEEF) WAS TERRIBLE , IT DIDNT TASTE AT ALL. WE COULDNT FINISH ANYTHING AND THE LITTLE WE ATE WAS BECAUSE WE WERE REALLY HUNGRY.

Yummy, yummy, I have skirt steak in my tummy!. It may look like a diner, but the food at this local restaurant well surpasses its surroundings. Whatever you do, get something that includes the fabulous chorizo...it tastes like none other that I've had. The sangria is tops with just the right amount of fruit. And the skirt steak is the stuff made of dreams...who knew a skirt cut could be so succulent? Great staff, great owner. Nice and roomy for parties!

Bring Friends and Kick Back. I was in the mood for some hearty Colombian cuisine. We ordered empanadas and a sample dish of picados for appetizers. The empanadas were crispy, nicely spiced and perfect to two to nibble on. The picadoa, however, came on a platter - like one suitable for the Thanksgiving turkey - and this was the SMALL dish. After grazing on the chorizo, potatoes, crispy pork and beef bits, we were rapidly getting stuffed. The rest went home for TV nibbles. We ordered the skirt steak and split it. Melt in your mouth tender and perfectly rare. The large pitcher of tasty sangria washed everything down - not too tart, not too sweet, filled with flavor and fruit. We rolled ourselves home, but not without two orders of flan. Outstanding. Looks like a diner, but tasted like a 4-star restaurant. Also, our waitress was the right amount of conscientious.

Look no further, this is the best!. I'm Colombian and I've been to many Colombian restaurant's in my lifetime. Though this is not the one restaurant I go to everytime I want my doze 'bandeja', it is my favorite and the one I enjoy the most. For first timers, I highly recommend 'La Bandeja'. It's huge. It has rice n beans (no surprise there), 2 eggs, sweet plantains, arepa (corn pie), pork and a choice of ground beef or (I recommend) steak. Among my other favorite dishes is the Skirt stake. One word, AWESOME.
