Best Fish-n-Chips
by Mr Blackk
Coming here from Europe it was hard to find a good fish-n-chips spot.
I have been coming back for years. The Seafood is always fresh and delicious.
I cant believe some of the other reviews. I have never been dissapointed here. To each there own, I presume.
I recently tried some of their sushimi. I never eat raw fish outside of a few reputable japanese retaurants I know if but this was right up there.
My biggest problem now is deciding what to order!

Instead, try Woodhaven House across the street

USED to like London Lennie's until my friend and I attempted to have dinner there last night. We were served our drinks and subsequently the mini loaf of bread. After we both ate a small portion of the loaf, I noticed a baby roach taking a stroll on the board on which the bread was served. I told the waitress, who just suggested we move to another table (NO APOLOGY). We moved to the table right in front of us and a few minutes later two busboys proceeded to clean up the table we had just vacated (with the dead roach still on it). I asked them not to clean up yet as I wanted the Manager to see the roach. The manager came over ,apologized very matter of factly, and just walked away. Immediately after another waitress came over to our table and asked if we were ready to order. We decided to leave and told her we would just finish our drinks and go. The manager then returned and gave us our drinks on the house with another half-hearted apology. So it wasn't until after he was told that we were leaving that he decided to comp us for the drinks !! UNBELIEVABLE !! If you want REALLY good seafood and excellent service (which London Lennie's does not provide) go across the street to Woodhaven House. I had a salmon dish that was just as good if not better than anything I've ever had at London Lennie's and the wait staff was extremely courteous and attentive. Poor managment at London Lennie's..will NEVER go back.
Worst Experience In Many Years!!!
by jeffandreu
First and foremost the service was horrible. The hostess has no business being one. She doesn't have a clue on how to be a hostess. I was there just last Saturday. I had to repeat myself to her several times before she even acknowledged me. She rudely said 45 minutes and nothing else as if it pained her to utter words to customers. She didn't offer for myself and my wife to have a drink at the bar or even picked her eyes off the book in front of her. We walked over to the Woodhaven House across the street to have a drink and wait for our table (they were very friendly. I'll return there and have dinner). When we went back to Lennie's the horrible hostess rudely stated that she called my name 20 minutes ago yet she couldn't even remember what it was. She then told us to wait again and just as we were leaving the manager came over to seat us. Even though we tried to salvage the evening we never saw the waiter again after he took our order. I walked over to the waiters station and announced we were leaving. He then hands me a bill for $123 (mind you we hadn't been served dinner yet). I was so upset I told him I wasn't paying it and he didn't react. I guess this happens often. We were so upset we left without touching the food they had the nerve to bring out an hour after we ordered it, just as we were leaving. The food looked cold and very dry. We didn't touch it yet they still charged my credit card (which I am disputing). I called the management today and spoke to Mark. He claimed that if we had a bad time it was our fault (my wife and I) not the restaurants fault. Since they brought out food, they held there end of the deal and he wouldn't remove the false charges for the bad service. Absolutely the worse experience I've had in a restaurant in many years.
