“In all, I agree with what everyone says here-- convenient from subway, reasonable prices ($35 for cut, $50 for cut & color), and it's worth the wait if the stylist can't get to you right away.”
Great Atmosphere, Great People. I have been going to Tony for more then 15 years as well as Vincent. They are great at what they do and the enviroment is excellent. If you are not sure what you want to get done on your hair, don't worry they won't steer you wrong. I have brought him a dozen new customers and they all agree, they are great. If you don't mind spending a few dollars more then you would at a barber shop, it is well worth it to me.
Consistently Fabulous.
Hey everyone,
I have been a faithful client of Tony and Vincent (interchangeably) for over 7 years now. They are both amazing with cut and color and i can honestly say i will go to who ever is available when its time to visit. The environment is friendly and relaxing and the prices are extremely reasonable. It is simply the only salon i go to.
always vincent. I've been going to Vincent since 1995-- that's 12 years now! I've also tried others, but I always end up going back to Vincent to FIX the mistakes of others. Once I even tried another stylist at Hair Decor, thinking it was okay, but nope... it has to be Vincent for me. I have wavy, frizzy hair that no one understands but him-- and because of the way he cuts, it's easy for me to style at home-- so much that people think I have naturally straight hair! Aside from being a great stylist, Vincent has also been great at nurturing a friendly relationship. In all, I agree with what everyone says here-- convenient from subway, reasonable prices ($35 for cut, $50 for cut & color), and it's worth the wait if the stylist can't get to you right away. Oh, and I love Vincent so much that I still go there now, even after moving to New Jersey!
The Best Hair Saloon in All 4 Borough's.
At Hair Decor all of the stylist's give their clients the best in "ROYAL TREATMENT", especially VINCENT who's the "chief hair stylist". He's extremely brilliant and well worth the wait. This hair saloon insures their clients will walk away feeling extremely satisfied & comfortable with their new look. Don't waist anymore time and look no further. The right place is HAIR DECOR, I travel all the way from Staten Island. Besides, the location is conveniently near the subway station in Queens, if you don't have a car.
Don't think twice and visit Hair Decor, better yet ask for VINCENT.....
Wishing Tony was in SF. When I worked in NYC I went to Tony for haircuts regularly for last 4 years, and 3 years before that when in college upstate NY. I haven't been back since moving to San Francisco for work. I miss him dearly because I haven't found anyone yet as intuitive and consistent as Tony. He knows how hair falls, and listens to your styling habits and vision. Price is just fine $35 in 2004. I've gotten highlights there before too, and it was fabulous - $75 in 1999. He does get booked and it's usually a good 2 week wait to see him. If he cuts your hair, you'll know he's worth the wait.
A Great Salon. Two of the best hair stylists in NYC are Ann and Tony. I have been going to Ann now for 10 years and she is phenomenal! She does an amazing job with color and knows her stuff. She also cuts and styles so well, I just walk in and let her do what she thinks is right. She is so great, I live in another borough and I still travel back to Queens to get my hair done. I even got the other women in my family to try her out and they are still her Clients. The prices are reasonable and cheap compared to Manhattan. The only problem is that Ann and Tony are so good, you may have to wait for an appointment because they are constantly booked!
Great hair salon with great prices.... Tony is an awesome hair stylist, I've been going to him for over 13 years and he always keeps up with the lastest styles. The prices are reasonable though they seem to be slowly rising. And even though you make an appointment you may still have to wait for Tony for awhile, sometimes an hour, which is a bit frustrating. But you wait cuz you can't go wrong with Tony.
