Great little boutique outside Manhattan. I happened upon this boutique while visiting a friend in Queens. It was my first store to look at bridal gowns. Although I live in Manhattan and anticipated finding a dress there- I decided to give this store a try since I could tell from the window that they had a beautiful selection of gowns and bridesmaids dresses to choose from.

It was a Saturday and the store was very busy but the selection seemed quite extensive and very nice-especially for their destination collection, so I decided to book an appointment. The staff was very friendly and to my surprise- they were able to book me for the next day as opposed to a lengthy week or two in most upscale places in the city.

I found an amazing dress there, but decided to keep looking as it was the first store and dress I tried on. I looked at three more places only to go back to Alexandra and pick the first dress I tried on there. The dress is beautiful and they gave me a great discount too.

Contrary to the email below; the staff is very friendly and Joseph was beyond attentive and helpful. I normally do not write reviews, but had such a great experience there and feel that people should know about this boutique. It is excellent and I would recommend it to anyone. It can be quite busy there ( this is my only complaint), but that is what I would expect from a small boutique. As long as you have an appointment- the staff is very attentive to your needs.

Worst Business to Customer Sevice I have EVER HAD. You should be knocked in the head if you still visit this "boutique" after reading this review. Joseph is the owner of this store and I have unfortunately had to give them service for two bridal parties I have been in recently. I have NEVER had an owner raise their voice at me and when I asked him to lower his voice...his response was to start SCREAMING at me. Both bridal parties have had months of mishap when dealing with purchasing dresses form this store. never was their communication when dresses were over 2 MONTHS late, perhaps the store ordered them late or they were playing dress-up with them in the back-room, no idea. Joseph treats his employees so poorly in front of customers that I can see why he treats his customers like ASS. He doesn't care for repeat business, if his customer leaves unhappy and he has mixed up payments on EVERY dress that I have been involved with the ordering of, meaning charges double when you already put down 80% (which is required at ordering time-ridiculous?!) We are currently still waiting for our dresses and hope that they come in time for the wedding, as Joseph could care less....over 2 months late and counting. Please go elsewhere if you don't want your bride to break out in hives or if you prefer to be spoken to with courtesy and appreciation for your business. Wish I could rate ZERO STARS, but I have to at least rate 1-undeserved star

Good place for Bridesmaid Gowns. I purchased a bridesmaid gown here, and sent my own bridesmaids for my upcoming wedding. They have a large selection of bridesmaid gowns with some of the best pricing of the stores I compared in Queens/LI.

The store is well kept. The owner is very helpful and able to assist with ordering gowns that may not be available in store. They are still growing, but in the last few months, thebridal gown selection has increased. Good/fast service, GREAT pricing.

Best selection and customer service!!. I was able to browse for both bridesmaids and my own bridal gown in the same day, and they definitely have one of the best selections around. The manager and salespeople are helpful in showing you swatches of different colors and materials of dresses, and it really helps you get an accurate picture of what you are ordering. They really took the time and effort to help me find the dress of my dreams, which I did find in an Alfred Angelo gown. My bridesmaids are also going to be having Alfred Angelo dresses. They measured each of us and told us what size we should order based on custom measurements of the company we were ordering from. They were very clear in explaining everything to us, and that's definitely one of the things that I liked the best about them. The dresses came this week. and they fit all of my girls perfectly. My dress is a dream come true, and I know that you will all have a wonderful experience buying from them as well, just as I did. Good luck girls! ( you don't need it!!)

Amazing selection, price, salespeople = A+++ experience. So I spent around 2 months looking in NYC and Long Island for my wedding dress, and could not find anything I liked. I saw Alexandra Boutique listed on the Maggie Sottero website and decided to give the store a try, and I'm sooo glad I did! The manager gave me such a great price I bought my dress on the spot, and picked dresses for my bridesmaids the same day! My dresses came early and alterations were minimal . Love Alexandra Boutique!!!

Great service and prices. Bought my wedding gown and bridesmaids dresses from this store. Salespeople were patient and polite, and knowledgeable. The manager gave me over 30% discount, especially on bridesmaids dresses because I had 10 girls. Definitely check it out, you'll be glad you did!

UNPROFFESSINAL. THIS STORE IS NOT WORTH GOING!!! YOU TRY ON THE DRESS AND IT WILL COME JUST LOOSE!!!!!!!AND ALL HE CAN SAY IS "I FOLLOWED THE CHART" GUESS WHAT ITS BUSTED BECAUSE IF ITS JUST A BIT IT IS ACCEPTABLE BUT NOTHING FITS FROM BUST TO TOE!!
