Awesome. Garcia's been around for a long time for a reason--its margaritas are delightful, not too strong but at the same time, not too weak. It is the perfect drink for me and my friends.

Don't even bother. Save yourself the aggravation. This place was good until a couple of years ago when the new owner took over. Service is spotty. Can either get good or horrible service, depending on how they feel that day. Owner doesn't seem to care. As long as he gets some business, he thinks it's okay. He is very rude to customers. And if you encounter any problems during your dining experience, which is somewhat likely, good luck getting any satisfaction. The wait staff seems to be afraid of the owner (at least that's my perception), and he doesn't want to be bothered with any customer complaints, so you'll just have to endure the horrible service if you choose to stay. Food is nothing to rave about, so why bother? There are so many better restaurants, where the owners actually care about their customers, within a two block walk, so don't waste your time.

Nice restaurant, love the atmosphere and drinks. Of all the times I have been to Garcia's I would highly recommend it. It has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. I love their grilled steak on the fajitas or in a quesadilla, it has a unique flavor. Ask for a topshelf perfect margarita or even the different flavors for frozen ones, I love strwaberry.

If I want to spend some time with friends or even to grab a drink after work, I would think of Garcia's no doubt.

Tasty Margaritas. It is conveniently located in Forest Hills. The staff is always nice and attentive and they have a great menu. The margaritas are not too strong and they have different flavors to choose from. Cute place.

Worst food, and even worse service. A month ago, we went to Sgt. Garcia's on a Friday night when the other restaurants in Forest Hills were too crowded. We should have known that it was empty for a reason. The decor is tacky and the tables are made of fake wood (shiny plastic). We waited a long time for the server with the poofy hair to come take our order. The frozen margarita tasted like there was no alcohol in it. I asked for the bartender to add more tequila and they charged me for a shot. The food was the worse Mexican food we have ever had; this place managed to turned us off to chorizo for the rest of our lives. We saw our server hanging out by the server's station with the other servers and could not get his attention for the longest time. He also went in and out of the bathroom and spent more time touching and fixing his hair than taking care of his tables. The cost was on par with other restaurants in Forest Hills. However, given the quality of the food and the horrendous service, it was a complete rip-off and waste of money. I still get angry whenever we walk past this place and would NEVER return even if they paid us.

Best margarita's in Queens. The owners and staff in this place are friendly and attentive...the best place for a pleasant lunch in Queens. I would recommend the blue Margaritas on a warm summer evening...and the Mexican coffee when it gets a bit cooler. The nachos are to die for.

manager has poor customer service skills. the owner could care less about his customers. i understand he treats his staff poorly as well
