Not a good experience, avoid it!. I was recommended to see Cindy at this salon. I had my hair colored and cut/blow dried. The color came out good, but though I was there during the week in the morning, the place was packed with people so the service was awful. I sat waiting for my color to be rinsed out for a lot longer than I should have. The rest of the staff who needed to help Cindy with the coloring part were rude and rushed. Cindy was rushed and had a real attitude on her. When she was done cutting it and I had pictures and was very specific about what I wanted done, it looked too much like a bowl cut, certainly not what I asked for and not what the pictures showed. When I asked her to please make sure it's even, because my hair can look even when it's not because it 's very wavy, she got nasty and asked if I trusted her and got annoyed because I asked this. She said that if she cuts more, she'd have to cut it all over again. I only asked her to make sure it was even, not to insult her or get another cut done! She seemed very rushed and couldn't wait to get me out the door. They're doing you a service, it's not the other way around. Very rude and rushed atmosphere. Will not go back there again. Nice on the outside but beware of the inside!

The worst Salon in NYC. Do NOT go to this salon. It looks very nice but it is the worst salon I've EVER been to! I went in confident that with a picture in hand the stylist would be able to at least create a look similar to it... I was wrong. Not only did she not do as I asked, she insulted me for choosing the look and went with something else I thought could also work. Then once the assistant was done shampooing I was brought to the mirror only to see that my hair had been turned traffic cone orange! I was going for blonde. The stylist refused to exit the back room to speak to me, she gave up the job and sent the owner to deal with me. The owner was even worse, she refused to speak to me simply because I was crying, if you had looked as I did, you may have gone to tears also. While sitting there the gentleman next to me said that his fiance had the same experience as I only weeks before. In the end, they left me to cry and I was on my own with horrible hair. Please don't do this to yourself!!
