Vincent Blyden was with us from the moment we got to the dealer. He was VERY kind to us. He listen to what we needed and wanted in the new car we were looking for and help us out with all the questions we had. This person got us a really good deal and made the process of taking in our old VW and giving us the new one very smooth.
yesI would recommend this dealership
because they keep you informed on what your car
needs when you take it in for any kind of service, so you can stay on top of things
for your safety.
I just want to take some time out to
review a company that I believe deserves some praise...Koeppel Volkswagen. For years I have have been a loyal Toyota customer. Between Toyota and Lexus I definitely didn't think I would ever switch to another make of vehicle. After seeing the commercials on television for the Routan, I decided to go and take a look. I live on Long Island and have a dealership right near me but having heard bad reviews about it from family members I decided to take a ride into Queens and go to Koeppel Volkswagen. First I have to say I fell in love with the vehicle. My children ages 9 and 5 absolutely love it!! I never thought I would drive a mini-van but alas here I am today with one!!! Anyone that sees it loves it. Ok now for more important business, the treatment I received was over the top. I was dealing with Rosario D'Amato (sales manager) and Michael Inserillo (business manager). Never once did I feel like they had that typical "salesman" attitude. I can't stand when I go someplace and they try to "sell" me on something. This is exactly what makes me leave a place.
Rosario explained EVERYTHING to me about the vehicle. He took his time and gave me my time and space to make my decision. No pressure what so ever. My decision was already made, I was getting the Routan.
Off to the business office, which is something I always dread when getting a new vehicle. I feel like they always try to make you buy a bunch of stuff you don't need and will never use, but somehow convince you anyway. Well this time I'm happy to say, I was wrong. Mr Inserillo went over everything with me in a way that made me understand everything he was talking about. There werer no hidden costs, no discrepancy in my monthly payments or in my down payment. I felt like I was dealing with a friend who cared about me.
For the first time I can say that I was happy with my entire experience! I now believe that I am a Koeppel Volkswagen customer for a great many years to come!!! Kudos to Koeppel but especially Rosario D'Amato and Michael Inserillo.
This was my first car leasing experience and Daniel was great! He was very knowledgeable and friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I would recommend him to all of my friends!
The people at Koeppel Volkswagen are extremely friendly and honesty. The first day me and my father went in we were immediately approached by Daniel Hungerbuhler. he answer all of our questions, showed us the car we were interested in and then gave us the deal we were looking for. The overall process was smooth. There were never any surprises or unexpected non-sense that sometimes happens with car buying. They were straight forward. They didn't try to pressure us into purchasing extended warranties or any of that. I would definitely buy another car from them and recommend them to all my friends and family.
Horrible customer service and
completely disrespectful with disregard for a person's time.
I successfully leased a car from VW on Northern Blvd, but it wasn't without a lot of stress and hassel.
As asked by the manager, the dealer showed us a car we liked and were happy to lock in, but suddenly, after signing the primary paperwork and them charging my card $1700 for the security deposit they tell us the car was sold and we had to wait until they could locate a car for us from another dealer.
The associate called me the next day with the vehicle available and requested that I come into the office to sign the lease.
I was told the lease manager, Neal, was backed up and I'd have to wait 40 minutes.....I waited....and waited....2 1/2 hours to sign a piece of paper.
One would may think it is crazy to have waited so long, but I kept being led on in 10 minute increments until I was so stressed out I was going to leave - of course Neal was now available.
Stupendously entirely disappointed. I do not advise this dealer's service. Beware of waiting "40 minutes for Neal the Lease Manager" - The guy wasn't even sympathetic or apologetic at all, not even one little bit. Such an ego on this dummy, that he couldn't even extend a small fraction sympathy and instead glazed over and brushed off the situation, such a sad, egotistical, pathetic fool.
Reason for visit was "end of lease" event. Overall, we had a great experience. There was just one moment during the negotiation process that we felt the sales person almost lost his patient by telling us that "we had wasted our time" to which I replied that was not the case. Maybe his time but not ours as we had to look out for ourselves as we would be the ones making the monthly payments not him. Also, the sales person never gave us the price of the car - he would give us an about figure. The car in the showroom did not have a price sticker either. We then proposed a number based on the approximate cost of the car to which he and his manager agreed. Everyone was happy after that. It was smooth sailing from that point forward.
I would recommend this dealership because they keep you informed on what your car needs when you take it in for any kind of service, so you can stay on top of things for your safety.
Koeppel Volkswagen has provided me with the best car buying experience I have had. The salesperson, Esy, was very helpful and gave us a great price on our new Jetta. The car itself is great. They had a huge inventory and every car was available for test drives.
Daniel was exceptional to work with. He was able to answer all of my questions with a friendly attitude and never pressured nor was aggressive at making the sale. He took the time to explain all the functions within the car making sure there wasn't an item he missed. I would definitely recommend my family/friends to Daniel for any future purchases.
