Outstanding Attorney. Mr. Kass and his staff are absolute professionals. From the moment of my initial (and free!) consultation I received direct, no nonsense advice regarding my Chapter 13 bankruptcy case. The fee charged for services rendered was more than reasonable and it became clear to me as the process moved forward that there were several items such as document retrieval that could have easily pushed the cost higher but that clearly the savings was passed on to the customer. All of my many questions along the way were also answered promptly and accurately. In several cases I drafted emails on a Saturday or Sunday expecting an answer on Monday only to be pleasantly surprised by a response within a half hour. During all court appearances I was well represented and all stages of the process were explained as they unfolded. Bankruptcy is a very difficult thing to go through and at every step Mr. Kass' professional and positive demeanor helped make an unpleasant situation bearable. Should I ever require legal services of this type again (hopefully not!) there is no one else in New York City I would consider going to.

Quick, Inexpensive, Effective Legal Advice. Mr. Kass is conveniently located in downtown Manhattan. During the visits to his office, he was prompt and professional and offered solid advice to help me navigate a system I knew nothing about. Every step was laid out (including my need to get a new social security card) and Mr. Kass and his staff made the process easy. Upon my hearing date, a member of the staff met me at the courthouse and provided good advice on what to expect.

I found Mr. Kass through a legal referral service. I called around and determined his rate was quite reasonable. Another lawyer said to that if the lawyer was recommended through the particular legal referral service and that if I was getting that price, to go with him (Mr. Kass). It is not cheap, but the fee was well worth the end result.

Mr. Kass proved knowledgable about the intracacies of my particular case. He laid out the potential outcomes very honestly and was able to provide the information needed to make my decision about how to move forward.

In short, a solid lawyer at a reasonable price. Surely shop around, but don't pick a lawyer without speaking to Mr. Kass first.

They can help.... Alina Solodchikova is extremely professional and knowledgeable. Initially, I had a consultation appointment with another law office and, aside from their fee being three times the price, they took more than a week to answer a simple question. Alina and the staff are diligent, attentive and always available. The entire process began and ended with Alina, from the consultation to being present at the meeting of creditors. The quality of service you will receive from the Law Offices of Stephen B. Kass, P.C. is unsurpassed. You need not look further!

Setlle with the IRS- and get on with your life. Steve Kass was instrumental in solving my IRS tax issues. He represented me in court and then was able to structure a settlement that allowed me to continue my life and pay back the government at the same time. He's the person to call.
