boooohhh. I often walk by this place and because it is pack all the time, i end up trying it, it stinks.

I ordered a duck salad and some shrim and pork dumpling, both was fat and tasted horrible.

It is and will remain for me a mystery, why so many people eat here every day?

Poor Food. I really did not enjoy the food here. I had the general tso chicken, a dish I always order and my boyfriend had the tuna. The tuna was bland and overcooked and my chicken was over fried. We had to send back the tuna and get another dish.Service was good and co-operative in taking back the tuna, but I would suggest trying some other dishies.

WOW....A FAST RIDE DOWNHILL!. This place used to be great. But I'm not in the area as much as I used to be. I hadn't been to this Ollie's in about a year. And what a difference a year can make. This went from a place to travel out of your way for to nothing special. It's not horrible but I don't think I'll be back for a long time. What a shame. I just had dinner recently at the Ollie's near Lincoln Center and that continues to be good. I believe all the Ollie's have different owner groups and chefs. So they all have different menus.

Bad service, good food. I just wanted to say that if it wasn't because I was with my friends I wouldn't left more than just a penny. I liked the fried rice and all the rest of the entrees, but the service was simply the worst ever had.

Next time I will just have my order to go and enjoy with friends at home or watching a good tv program, but don't go and eat there, chances are that the waitresses might pun... you in your face with her attitude.

Ollies has no-nonsense service with yummy and savory food that was worth the Saturday night rush.. Saturday night was easily my fourth time at Ollies and I will definitely be coming back! The sesame chicken, general tsao's, green beans, sweet and sour chicken, and the aassorted dumplings were just wonderful. Enjoy!

Good Americanized Chinese. Look out, its trendy, its corporate, and its ... Chinese? The prices here are slightly higher than your average Chinese takeout, with better variety and a much cleaner restaurant. Its too bad the food tastes funky and the best they have is everything American-Style.

Chinese food to go.... I honestly think this is the best chinese food place.. I either order out or sit in for lunch at least twice a month. This place is incredibly inexpensive and really good food with good portions so be careful what you order you many not finish it. The waiters, well they're just "blah" but the food makes up for the service. I will have to say one time I went to dinner after a movie and stayed there for 3 hours after my meal talking to friends and they waiters didn't bother us until it was time to close. I would recommend trying the mixed dumplings, their sesame or tso's chicken, vegetable fried rice and wonton soup. I am getting hungry just thinking about it. The decor? Well from outside you'd think its just a typical order out place but once you past the kitchen towards the main dinning room, you'll see that its a lot nicer. Two floors can't beat it. Good for groups if you want to share different dishes.

Good Experience!. We were in New York June 18-24 and ate here twice. It was great, everything we had on both nights was really good. I wish I could have eaten here another time. The Chow Fun was excellent and the soups we had, had really good flavor and lots of Bbq Pork.

yum and very americanized chinese food.... solid food at a solid price. dependable chinese food, quick delivery, fresh veggies--- i always order from this place and i keep on coming back. i have a friend who flies in from jacksonville florida and insists on either eating at ollie's or a fancy steak house around town. ollie's is obviously the more economical option... i've been eating at ollie's since it opened in 1989 up by columbia u. the food at the multiple ollie's locations vary in quality-- the lincoln center area ollie's is definitely my favorite, although the 116th street location does have a special place in my heart. Best deal is the wonton noodle soup, and ask for extra noodles-- you get a big meal for under $6...

The Applebees of Chinese Dining. What to say about Ollie's. It's basically the americanized franchised version of chinese restaurants. They offer a quick, clean, and easy dining experience. The service seats you, takes your order, and puts it on ur table. No small talk or pleasantries not out of meaness but just the designs of a well oiled machine. The food is good and offers all the dishes you'd expect to find in a traditional chinese restaurant. Again it's not old school authentic chinese food but it's good and gets the job done. If you're lookin for that authentic chinese taste or the romantic ambience to take a date, expect to be disappointed. But if u're looking for good simple chinese food made easy to order u've found u're place.
