Worst salon ever. I was not only charged for highlights, I was charged for the color they used. Another $25 to blowdry my shoulder length hair - to them it was "long". The receptionist's boyfirend came in to pick her up, bringing the worst smelling food on the the planet. But no problem, 2 "stylists" went into the next room and starting smoking which has to be against the health codes. (Closed spa, perm and dyes, food, garlic, CIGARETTE SMOKE and high heat - disgusting!

The stylist splashed shampoo in my eye and then poked me several times in the same eye with the hairbrush. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

Not going back. I had bought a promotional offer from Tessal hair salon. This salon apparently went out of business and Nardi salon agreed to take over the rest of the Tessals customer and honor that promotional offer. Which didn’t happen and it really pissed me off.

There was an initial, one time fee of $15 that I paid already at Tessal salon, and when I went to Nardi to finish my services, (I had only 2 left), they still charged me $22 initial fee although I already paid it. And when I asked why she said because you paid the initial fee at the other salon not here! Then why did they agree to take over this offer if they weren’t going to honor everything that it says! I was furious!

The services I had left were a mini European facial and a 30min upper body massage. The facial was a joke, she cleaned my skin w a makeup remover, put some tee tree oil in it and a moisturizer! I could do that myself!

Then she gave me a 10min neck and shoulder massage with cheap baby oil! When I went outside to check out, I told the receptionist that I still have a 30min upper body massage and she said that that was it! WTF! THAT WAS NOT 30 MIN!

I am assuming they wanted to take over Tassel’s promotional offer to get new customers, but that was a bad start! Especially when you charge the customers another initial fee. This was supposed to be resoled between the two salons; the customer should not have to pay that fee again.

I though it was a big mistake to take over the other salons offer and not honor it. Very bad customer service!

Long story short, they pissed me off and I will not go back there ever again!

P.S: with sites like Groupon and Lifebooker with so many great offers, those $60 salon offers are so not worth it.

LOW CLASS SCAM. I too bought one of those silly package deals. THIS IS NOT A DEAL. They charged $20 service fee, fine. But then they actually had the nerve to charge me $45 for the blow dry!!! i have neither long nor curly hair. Like...have some class, either provide a deal or DO NOT. This back-handed trickiness was such a turn-off. Then she cajoled me into trying a treatment - fine I accepted, but in the end I paid $300. I am NEVER going back there again, and I am NEVER buying one of those certificate deals off the street again either.

As for the staff - you feel sorry for them - they are low class and trying to swindle a buck out of women...they probably could never afford $300 on their hair themselves.

I am certain the positive reviews on this site are just the owner and friends.

Super Friendly. The girl that cut my hair was super friendly, took the time to talk about what I wanted to do with my hair and looked a couple photos I had brought. She explained what kind of cut would do my naturally wavy hair justice so I could wear it straight or curly with ease! She taught me some tricks of the trade and told me about some great products to try.

Best Haircut. I was looking to change up my current look to something that fit me a little better. I came to Nardi Beauty Center and just asked the stylist to do whatever she wanted. I have to say it's probably the best haircut I have ever had, my husband absolutely loves it.

Fabulous. I got my first hair coloring here. At first I was hesitant because I was afraid my hair would get damaged, because one of my friend did her some where else and her hair didn't look so good. However, I really wanted this so I went ahead and got it. My hair turned out fabulous and didn't change a bit. The hairstylist are super nice and very talented. I will refer family and friends.

I look great. I too love this salon. I chose the big package with a Shampoo Massage, Deep Conditioner, Haircut, Blow Dry, Eyebrow Wax, Mini-Facial, Manicure and Highlights. I feel very pampered and look forward to my visits where I feel refreshed afterward and I look great.

Fave salon. I originally bought one of those all inclusive gift packages on the street.

It included a haircut, blow out, manicure, conditioning treatment, etc. I'm usually skeptical about people selling things on the street yet somehow I had a better feeling about this one. It was a fair price and the man selling the package explained that it is a high quality Salon, attached to The Lombardy Hotel so I thought I'd give it a try. I am so glad that I did! Angelica greeted me with warmth and the rest of the staff was personable and very lovely. I explained that I was looking for a fun and edgy yet simple and elegant hairstyle.I was lucky enough to get Fred Nardi, he is the owner of the salon & a wonderful hairstylist and such a nice person, too. Angelica did a deep conditioning treatment to add shine and texture. I left the salon feeling like I was a movie star! I have since been back there 4 times and this now my favorite salon in NYC!

Package #3. I bought a beauty package also like everyone else. My last experience somewhere else was not very good, so I was very pleased that everything worked out okay. My hair has never looked so great. Mr. Nardi does awesome work. I love it. He's matched my color exactly. I had dark roots and light ends and it looks perfect. The haircut was supreme. Nothing left to say but GREAT EXPERIENCE
