Houston Hall

Houston Hall, like your neighbor who does all that volunteer work, doesn’t look like much from the outside, but is just wonderful once you get a glimpse of the inside. From the street it's just another nostalgia-inducing pub basically on the entrance ramp to the Holland Tunnel, but then comes the cobblestone and grass entrance. If that doesn’t get you, the massive open space inside will. The New York-centric brews--most coming care of Brooklyn--pair well with the Milk Truck grilled cheese sandwiches or Huang Tian Hua’s pot stickers. Stopping by after work will assure a room full of suits from nearby offices, but there’s always seemingly more room.
