Disappointed

Not impressed whatsoever. I really wanted to like this place. It wasn't bad, but I'd rather order some chinese food instead...
Delicious and easy on the wallet

We love this place- it's always good place to go- it's never crowded so you can bring groups or just go in for a quick bite. It's tasty and never breaks the bank!
I live next door and it's delicious

I moved to 4th street about a month ago to find myself living next to this place called jeollado. I saw the sign for a $6.95 bento box and I was in the door.
Chicken Terriyaki, gyoza, rice, miso soup, salad and a california roll for $6.95. Absolutely delicious.
I go there about twice a week now.
The sushi is pretty good. Relatively cheap, for example for $5 for the jeollado roll (avocado - salmon outside, crab in)
Awesome atmosphere, good music, highly recommended!
- Pros: Inexpensive, delicius, fresh, atmosphere
- Cons: none
Still the Best

I've been to many Asian restaurants like these with an extensive menu where they try to cramp in too much into one menu, please all palates. Jeollado has a nice balance of Japanese sushi and sashimi, Koresan favorites and then a hybrid of new rolls they created. Everyone will be please with their selection here. They also give you A LOT of food so you won't leave hungry. I have been coming here for about 8 years or so and never get sick of it. The bill is always reasonable.
- Pros: 2 for 1 rolls, lots of space, great combination of different variety of cuisine
- Cons: Absolutely none

some of the best sushi I've eaten in NYC! I ordered a sushi combination lunch special, which was just the right portion and price. my friends ordered a Smoked Salmon Roll , Sweet Shrimp and a few other types of sushi. everything I tried tasted very fresh and light, leaving me full but refreshed rather than stuffed. I can't wait to eat here again!
Heaven for japanese-korean cuisine lovers!!!
by angie71983 at Citysearch
Off the busy streets of St. marks I found this cozy japanese-korean fusion restaurant where the word excellence is written all over it.
The decor goes hand in hand of this charming location which creates an inviting mood but funky at the same time. I loved the most interesting and fun artworks on the walls all around the restaurant and the open ceiling to wall doors that are left completely open in the summer season.
The menu is by far the most extensive and diverse. It's not your typical japanese restaurant. From the quality of their sushi to the perfection of the shrimp tempuras, you won't regret the money or the time you spend at jeollado.
- Pros: Everything!
Great roll, sushi & enjoyable party room
by mimi0301 at Citysearch
With pretty good impression at my first time visiting, I went this restaurant last week. Again, it was great. The staff was helpful & kindful. Their food was delicious. Especially, I recommend 'spicy tuna roll' and 'pan-fried Kimchi' Since I don't like sushi or roll very much, I haven't ordered that kind of dishes.
But!! their spicy tuna roll was amazing. It's promptly hot, juicy, and sweet. I just wonder which seasoning they use. I never had such a tasty spicy tuna roll.
Also, their 'pan-fried Kimchi" was really good too. I don't like the smell of pork, but I could enjoy the dish because they used beef instead of pork, which traditionally use for the dish. Tofu in the dish was incredibly soft and greatly matched for spicy taste of Kimchi.
Another cool point is a spacious party & karaoke room. With nice animation painting wall, you would enjoy their projection screen and diverse songs.
If you want to have delicious rolls & sushi with cheap price or if you want to have an unforgattable private party, I stronly recommend this restaurant.
- Pros: cheap price, quite & huge space, kindness service, delicious food
Great Japanese-Korean Restaurant!!!!
by RayJL at Citysearch
One of my friend recommended this place, so I checked it out last weekend with some of my friends. And what can I say, it was great. The food was real good(cheap too), the service was excellent(mostly waitresses and like one waiter, but they were all friendly and nice), and the owner seemed like a really nice guy. I usually avoid going to a fusion restaurant as the food is usually not as good as the authentic ones that specialize in one type of food. However, this Japanese-Korean restaurant was by far the best fusion restaurant I've ever been to. All in all, if you want to eat both Japanese and Korean food, then I highly recommend this place.
- Pros: Great food and friendly service
- Cons: None
Great Birthday Party!~
by thejpnyc at Citysearch
I had my birthday party here last night and it was a blast! The staff was very accomdating and helpful. I originally booked the room from 9-12 then called and asked for the room to be extended to 1am, which they said was fine. When I called to confirm the night before, they told me they closed at midnight (?!). When I expressed my disappointment with this last minute notice (and I only found out because I called THEM) they agreed to stay open for the extra hour just for me, as long as they could close the kitchen. I feel they redeemed themselves and showed great customer service.
PROS: Great food, cheap, large party room (easily had 40 people), easy to use karaoke, friendly staff, can come early to decorate, very clean
CONS: NO separate bills which makes for a very uncomfortable announcement as people come and go to give 'what they think they owe" , not that large of a song selection.
All in all, I highly recommend the party room for an unforgettable time!
fresh cheap sushi, trendy, great restaurant
by jc566 at Citysearch
this past weekend i took my friends to jeollado (our best new discovery as of yet downtown.) upon entering the restaurant, we were not forced to wait and were seated promptly. the cartoon style artwork, video art played by the projection and the longevity of the restaurant, creates a casually cool, trendy, and modern atmosphere. the service is excellent- the wait staff is very attentive and the owner is a pretty cool guy. for dinner, we ordered the house rolls off the menu and asked the owner for his own recommendations, at which he continuously sent out both innovative korean and japanese fusion dishes. Absolutely Delicious and Ridiculously Cheap! My favorite part of the night was when we were used into the karaoke/ party room in the back. Dimly light by a hanging disco ball and tiny lights circumnavigating a pole, and greeted by large anime characters painted upon the wall, the karaoke room boasts over 2,000 songs!! i was surprised to find old time favorites by stevie wonder and cher interspersed with my favorite pop artists beyonce and britney spears! the staff once again was very attentive, quick to supply us with drinks as we made a fool of ourselves belting out to madonna's "material girl." i was told that just last month, penelope cruz and her entourage graced the karaoke/party room herself (pretty awesome!) overall my experience was a two thumbs up! i cant wait for next weekend to relive this experience all over again.
- Pros: house rolls, non sushi dishes such as soft tofu stews and korean pancakes, karaoke/party room
- Cons: none!!
