Very good venue in itself... Good lines of vision to the stage, good PA system and sound quality. Very intimate space and freindly decor. The box office at the place is great and lets you avoid Ticketbastard charges... you can buy tix until 2 hours after the show! Would be a five star venue if it wasn't for the security "team" they have at the place... total scumbags at the entrance who don't know what they're searching for but will make you empty your cigarette pack before entering 9even though they have no right to do so). Later in the night, the NYPD had blocked people inside the building during the set break due to "falling glass from the building", and security was instructed to not let anybody outside. No big deal if it was from a police order, but the security wouldn't make the simple concession of letting people know why they were keeping us all herded inside like a bunch of cattle. So go any enjoy a good show at a good venue, but watch out for those security who are either A) pseudo-pigs who are obviously still mad they failed their civil service tests and are forced to work at jamband shows B) degenerate losers out to steal as much mary jane and bottled water they can from people going to the shows with their meager amounts of power.
