The store's no-nonsense urban attitude and dazzling spread of men's and women's footwear makes it a mecca for shoe shopaholics.

In Short
Poured concrete walls and floors foreshadow the city sidewalks that Plohound's wares will soon be pounding. While the collection runs the gamut from expensive, well-known designers to more moderately priced lesser-knowns, the look is the same: hip, modern and urban, most shoes falling somewhere in the affordable-luxury price range. Look for Something Bleu peep-toe heels and Corso Como tooled leather flats for women, and Ted Baker loafers and Converse sneakers for men.

A shoe lover's dream

by jchefconcierge

I love this store. They always have the latest in foot wear from all the top designers. Twice a year around February & then around Aug-September, they have amazing sales. I especially love the Prada selection.

  • Pros: several locations, best shoe selection, best styles

Thank God for a real shoe place!!

by authenie

Personally, I look for the top of the line name brand, only because you're guaranteed a long lasting shoe!!! I have to admit to wait for the sales so you can leave the store with more bags, saving 100's of dollars!! If not, go and splurge, it's soooo worth it here. I am aware that this may not work for everyone- my sister thinks I'm crazy to spend over $300.00 for a pair of shoes or boots. BUT I love shoes and if you do too, then you have to visit this place. They have every look available, you will not be dissappointed!!! The staff is really helpful without being too obsequeous so you are given your space to just look around and not be bothered with staff trying to make a comission. Look, if you don't have the money to spend, go anyway and window shop... it's worth it!!!!

  • Pros: good quality shoes
  • Cons: absolutely zero

IN RESPONSE TO THE CHEAPSKATES REVIEW

by victoriouspurple

I PERSONALLY LOVE THIS STORE. I 'LL SING ITS PRAISES ON THE ROOF TOPS. THEIR END OF SEASON SALES ARE ALWAYS FULL OF GREAT BUYS. I DON'T KNOW HOW GREAT A PAIR OF SHOES ARE FOR LESS THAN 100. WELL I HAVE BIG FEET AND THEIR ARE ALWAYS PLENTY OF VERY FASHIONABLE SIZE 10S. THE STAFF PRETTY MUCH MINDS THEIR OWN BUSINESS. WHICH IS GREAT FOR ME BECAUSE I DON'T ENJOY AN OVERLY HELPFUL STAFF. TO EACH IS OWN.

  • Pros: WELL LAID OUT., NEVER CROWED, GOOD SALES
