Sex in a Jar...

Is the best way to describe the guacamole. The watercress dip is also a favorite with my friends. The food is to die for and the service is worth just stopping in for one of those heavenly cookies.

Over-the-top expensive, but delicious

Quality wise (and service-wise), I have never been disappointed by William Poll, but it is so expensive that it makes your head spin.

If you lead a lifestyle that involves a carefree attitude about money, as many people on the upper east side do, then it's for you. But if you're on a budget, steer clear. You can still eat very well in this town without cleaning out your bank account at this place.
