Although the skies opened up on me and soaked me from head to toe, the 30 minute stroll across the Brooklyn Bridge was incredibly exciting. An excellent view of Manhattan.

Pros: Good exercise, Great view

If you're into water views and can stomach some traffic, consider a saunter along the East River Park esplanade, where the scenery changes at top speed as cars on the FDR zoom by.
