At four miles long, Riverside Park has more than enough space to offer local, dog-owners two dog runs but neither of the ones provided come close to ideal. The run located at 87th Street is very small with a gravel base. The asphalt and dirt run at 105th Street tends to get inordinately hot and dusty in summer, and extremely muddy and filthy during rainy seasons.
