Horrible Service

by emc25

At the store, when I bought things, they were very sweet, but when I returned the items back, they were so rude, they didn't even look at me or talk to me... And they took forever to find out whether it was returnable or not... I mean... I think people who carry those amazing items should have amazing service even for return. Even little boutiques are not as bad for return any more... i don't think I would recommend this place just in case you might have problems with your products, and might need to return... Even though they took it back, I felt horrible after the horrible treat...

Don't get clothes altered by their tailor.

by daniel_nyc

I just bought a pair of Prada jeans at Jeffrey. When I ask them to shorten the legs, I was promised that the end will look the same as original (you may know this tailoring technique). All my other jeans are altered and tailors usually do a great job to attach the original hem to the shortened leg. Although promised otherwise, they shortened them the cheap way. That may happen at a Jeans store in Chinatown but not at a place like Jeffrey and not with a pair of Prada's.

Makeup

I loved the Makeup department at JEffrey. If you go there, make sure to stop at the Ramy counter and try the foundation. It's amazing. I love Jeffrey because of their unique brands and styles. Definitely worth the trip!

Service Issues

by nsht

Jeffrey's has great service when you're in the store but I found that their service didnt match up once I had to speak to them over the phone. I bought a bag which broke within a week and they offered to repair it. The problems started when I returned to my home city and I could not speak to anyone to help me. It has been 2 months since I bought the bag and I still have not recieved it although I'd paid for it 2 months ago. That's not good enough, and the service (albeit great) just doesn't justify this kind of treatment.

The best shoe selection in town, and more besides.

by Liz Zack

The Scene
The haute-couture pioneer of the Meatpacking District, Jeffrey is an Atlanta institution that migrated north. Owner Jeffrey Kalinsky has his own retail pedigree: A former shoe buyer for Barneys, he parlayed his eagle eye into his own business. Jeffrey patrons are the kind who keep cars waiting while they shop and know the names of the aggressive (but pleasantly un-snotty) salespeople. And you can, too, if you're free to drop mad cash on a truly divine Missoni dress.

The Goods
Although well-stocked with a wide range of labels, from Helmut Lang to Pucci, the store's real draw is the full lines of fancy footwear for men and women. Racks of Gucci, Manolo Blahnik and Prada, among others, prove that Jeffrey is (still) all about the shoes.

Unparalled Customer Service

by LarjMarj

Everytime I shop here its like visiting with old friends and having a shoe party. Champagne, water, tea...whatever you are thirsty for. And you don't feel out of place if you didn't arrive in a limo.

  • Pros: Good Sales people, Great selection, Good Sales
  • Cons: Location

Horrible Service

by booty168

I live in CA and called Jeffrey about a pair of Louboutin heels. I was hung up on the first time and the second time the salesman was quite rude and told me they were sold out. I understand they were quite busy that day, but any customer willing to pay their prices should get top-notch service whether in person or over the phone. Very disappointed.

  • Cons: horrible service

can't get any much better!

by Milliest

It was a dream come true. I stopped by to look for shoes. I found that they had just started a sale and had marked their summer shoes 50%+ off. I was able to buy a pair of Gucci, Chanel, and Dolce & Gabbana sling backs for less than it would normally cost to buy just one pair at retail! The salespeople were so fab... very friendly and helpful. When my saleslady discovered that they didn't have my size, she called the Atlanta store and arranged to have it shipped to me.

  • Pros: late hours, great sales, great staff
  • Cons: wish it was bigger

Fashion house

by MTancinco_Citysearch

Yes, this store is the label king and queen's dream come true. Sure, you've got Barneys and Bergdorf, but Jeffrey has, in a relatively short amount of time, made quite a name for itself with an amazing shoe collection (for both men and women) and a more daring collection of high-end designer clothes. Plus, they've got three sales people to every person, all of whom are very informative and personnable. My only quibble ... their men's section is tiny and tend to focus on club wear. How about giving guys something less flashy, but still fun for the day?

  • Pros: Great shoe selection
  • Cons: small men's selection
