The Scene
Situated on cozy Crosby Street, the Apartment makes you feel like you've been invited to a small intimate brunch party at the loft of someone fabulous and given free rein to snoop. The store has been known to hire actors to bathe in the designer bathtub or simply to lounge around the pad in their Girbaud shoes. Shoppers have full access to all rooms, including the Bathroom and the Closet, where ethereal Not Tom, Dick and Harry dresses hang for inspection. Imagine Bjork playing in the background as you flip through Interview magazine on a Marcel Breuer sofa (also for sale).

The Goods
Everything is for sale at the Apartment, from the trombone in the bedroom corner to the Anne Semonin products in the to-die-for bathroom. The kitchen is filled with understated Bodo Sperlin-designed dishware and brightly colored Tania placemats. Can't decide? Enjoy a homemade crepe from Le Gamin as you contemplate.
