Overpriced...

IDk if this is the right one, but I came here to squash my craving for sushi. saw this place that was close to west 4th. You know the funny thing is from the outside this place looks like a club. I ordered 1 role and the sushi deluxe and didnt relize that the deluxe was around 60 dollars. I was kinda stunned but I was there and decided to eat anywas. They get three stars because the food is good. But ive been to way better places that served better food at a fraction of the price. I gotta say the atmosphere is definately cool. Sitting on the patio was too cold for me. I was here around april thinking it would be warm in NYC. NO SUMMER HERE WTF

For Sushi Only--

Hands down the freshest sushi I have ever tasted. It was amazing. When you eat sushi you may get few that are very fresh and others that are good. All of Sushi Seki's sushi was fresh. Sake, Toro, mirugai, kanpachi, bonito... they were all fantastic.

I recommend that you sit at the sushi bar (a reservation is a must) and have the chef make the sushi for you -- according to your likings. They are very accommodating

Best Meal Ever :)

The best meal I've had in a long time. Sushi Samba 7 has always been a favorite hot spot of mine - but I honestly think last night was THE BEST dinner I've had out so far this year. From the first second to the last - I was thrilled. I set up a dinner party for 6 friends and picked Sushi Samba because I know they have those great booths. I made a reservation a few weeks ahead of time as I know its a popular place to be on Friday night. I was able to reserve the booth I wanted for 8:00, and received a call confirming my reservation from an adorable girl named Mandy the day before. When I called back to confirm, she kindly thanked me :) Last night, we arrived a few minutes early to get a drink at the bar and each of my friends was greeted by two handsome managers at the door. My out of town guests were already impressed - kept teasing me that I was such a big deal! One of the managers, Joey, smiled when she said that, and proceeded to treat our group like VIPs all night long - checking in with us and helping us as we ended our night! Our server was a girl named Kelli, and she was just totally on par with the best servers I've had in NYC. The sushi was so fresh and the specials of the day were unlike anything I'd ever tried. We continued our night after sushi samba, but everyone kept teasing that we should've quit while we were ahead! The dinner was so fantastic that every club NYC had to offer paled in comparison. Incredible experience. I'm a little bit of a food snob - so when I rave like this, I hope all citysearch readers take note!

Great Ambience and super fresh!

I've eaten here a million times and I'm yet to be disappointed! I love the decor, color schemes, and big comfortable booths. The sushi and salads are very fresh and not too expensive. can't wait to go back!

Great food!

So went to an early dinner with a few girlfriends. had a great time. Nice ambiance and deliciously succulent Whole Crispy Red Snapper. Not to expensive. will definitely go there again!!
