Perfect place for a birthday
by brett03
I celebrated my birthday here this past weekend. It was perfect for my friends and family who had attended. The bartenders were friendly as well as the management. They set aside a place for me and my friends to sit and enjoy drinks. We stayed out late and enjoyed every moment of the party. The place wasnt pretentious or to crowded. I highly recommend fiddlesticks for your next birthday celebration.
- Pros: fun place and affordable drinks
Great Happy Hour!
by lylab
I stopped by Fiddlesticks to meet a friend for happy hour cocktails on friday, I had such a blast! the drinks were great! ($4 for mixed drinks, you can't go wrong!)and the bartenders were so much fun! The place was busy and as the night went on, it was slammed! a little too busy for me but I got over it! Great place to meet people!
Very different in the week from weekends....
by andysoccercrazy
As a resident of the W Village I have visited Fiddlesticks for the occasional late lunch during the week. It is a no frills place where i can catch up on football (Soccer to you i'm sure) and have a pint. I get to chat to an English bartender which makes me feel at home, and I enjoy decent food at a fair price, especially if I make the lunch special! The weekends are a totally different affair - hordes of kids come to dance and get drunk and who knows what else! not my thing but hey, I guess i'm getting old.
NYE EXCELLENT!

New Years Eve was awesome here, the bartenders were cool, and a great crowd, would do it again in a second!

Fiddlesticks will always be our go to spot in the village. The bar has incredible burgers and a great atmosphere there is always a decent crowd and a fun vibe either at night or in the afternoon it never disappoints.
- Cons: sidewalk cafe, brunch

its a great place for cheap drinks during happy hours and i love the assortment of candy given out in the restrooms but it can become so crowded here that you can't even more on weekends
Surprisingly good brunch deal with drinks included...and YUMMY food.
by erinsanta
NO, we were not hungover...so our tastebuds were in check, and we loved the food. Burger, Fish and Chips w and Shepherd's pie were all grea...plus, 2 free drinks with each brunch entree. Our bill was $35 for 6 alcoholic beverages (1 champagne/wine concction, 3 bloody marys...delicious...and 2 beers), and three meals. We all cleaned our plates. Can't beat that! Atmosphere was great, old, cozy...much like the bars we visited in Ireland. I bet it's a fun place to go out to at night....
- Pros: great deal, good food
- Cons: service was a tiny bit slow...but it was shift change...
BEST HAPPY HOUR SPOT!!! Great place to meet people! Excellent Food and service! Pool Table!

I had the best time at this Irish Bar and restaurant with a group of people I brought for drinks. We ate authentic delicious irish cuisine served by the most friendliest and (very good looking staff I must say) who gave us really great service for how busy it was. We ended up staying all night having a great time. We met the owner who was so nice to introduce herself to us and actually sat with us for a little while asking us were we were from. I recommend dining outside to people watch. The music and the bartenders (3 words HOT HOT HOT!) were awesome and the bar decor itself really well put together with imported Irish moldings, pictures and decor. You can tell the owners know what they had in mind and instore for their patrons. When you go to a bar that has everything like this does you know they did it right. We definetly will be coming back to Fiddlesticks and MOST definetly can't wait to check out and dine at her new spot coming soon!!
Best pub in town -- friendly staff, good food
by onepotata
My friends and I watched the World Cup games at this authentic Irish pub and had the best time! The beer selection is vast, the food is great & the staff could not have been more friendly. The whole atmosphere was very welcoming and fun. I have since been back several times and each time was better than the last. Definitely a great pace to recommend to your friends if you just want to hangout, eat good pub food & be among fun people. I send all my out-of-town friends there & they love it! Plus, you can't beat the Monday night football deals!
- Pros: Drink selection, atmosphere
- Cons: No veggie burgers
Best Irish Pub Below 14th Street!
by nbrollhernandez
I was just at Fiddlesticks this past Friday, after work, and had the best time! The bartender was reason alone to go!
I just have to say that I spent all my money just to watch this cute bartender work all night.
This is not just some small NYC bar to squeeze into, there is plently of room to drink, play pool, catch a smoke on the outside cafe...and obviously, flirt with the bartenders!
Definite recommendation!
- Pros: Bartenders
- Cons: Leaving
