This attraction is very cool. It's like your having a crazy dream because the figures are so life-like. I thought a staff member was wax! A little pricey but it's unique enough to check out and close to the Broadway shows.

Pros: Surreal, Discounts, Realistic Figures

Cons: Food Choices

We went on a weekend and it was $29 a person. If you want walk in the lobby you can take your picture with Beyonce or Donald Trump and walk back out. The statues in the London version are much more interesting and varied. If you don't like current NY pop stars this version is pretty boring and overpriced. Even though Times Square was packed this museum was deserted.

Cons: Expensive, Not Enough Statues

So, you have family in town and decide to be a tourist for a day... go here! Bring a camera, and get ready for your 15 minutes of fame. I could not believe how cool it is inside. I actually was able to race against Lance Armstrong. Although I did not beat him, I could not believe all the stuff my family and I could do. My sister sang for American Idol, my brother mixed an Usher track and my dad couldn't stop making Jennifer Lopez blush. In New York thiers tons of things to do, but this place is one that I would reccomend time and time again.

Pros: Hours of opperation, life like wax figures, Nice people

Cons: cameras are expensive

You think it's cool and worth the 25.00 - 30.00 per person until you head down the stairs thinking that there is more, but there's not. Wish I could turn back time. If you do decide to go, bring your own camera with a flash.

Pros: Lifelike figures

Cons: Too Expensive, Too short

The idea is a neat one - wax celebrities - but after spending just shy of $100 for four of us to walk in we left extremely dissappointed at the number of statues. We had more fun for $100 at ESPN Sportzone.

Pros: good idea, fun place

Cons: expensive, not enough

If you're from NY and someone's coming to visit, you've got to take them here. My husband and I went here just the other day and we had so much fun! Posing with the figures and taking pictures was the best part. They could've made Martin and Oprah looked a little better but for the most part, everybody looks good!

Pros: lifelike figures, nice experience, alot of history

Cons: cameras pricey!, ends too soon!

I couldn't believe when my girlfriend and I went to Madame Tussauds in New York. I thought is was a little pricey at $22, but after spending an hour and a-half taking pictures in side this crazy place I thought is was worth it. This place is WAK!

It costs $22 which I thought was a bit much for not too much. It was pretty cool, but just didn't seem like a lot to me. They also didn't have a whole lot of celebrities I would have liked to see. On the plus side they do allow you to take pictures, though there were none I wanted to take.

Pros: polite staff

Cons: too much money

I went to Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum after visiting it's sister in Amsterdam this spring. What I had seen in Amsterdam was, in one word, incredible. Of course, I expected the same from New York. Although there's a hefty price and a few very nice exhibits inside, there's just not much in Madame Tussaud's to make it a truly worthwhile experience. I would recommed it to a friend who had a few extra hours in the city to spend, but not on any other occasion.
