Truly Wearable Art!
by sophialuna at Citysearch
I went to Jill Platner's gallery for the sales event this spring. I bought gifts for friends and of course had to treat myself as well! People stop me all the time to inquire about my Fern Leaf necklace and Orbit bracelet which is SO hot on white leather!!! I love the fact that all of the jewels have names and seemingly their own personalities! These pieces look dazzling whether I'm in jeans, at work, or dressed up for a special occasion. Now my boyfriend has his instructions on where to shop for birthdays and holidays! Be warned, it is a bit overwhelming there are so many amazing pieces. The staff were wonderful (and very patient) in helping me choose the jewels that made the most sense for me. Thank you! I've got my eye on a 19 Carat gold necklace called Forget Me Not. . . .I'll be back!!!
- Pros: Timeless Wearable Art, Incredibly Hip, Friendly Staff

I love this designer. Her jewelry is fantastic -- perfect for a woman with an active lifestyle who likes a comfortable, high quality accessory with a personality of its own. Definitely recommend it.
- Pros: Distinctive, High Quality
A beautiful store
by my23 at Citysearch
I wandered into Jill Platner's jewelry store/gallery without knowing what it was--and was thrilled to find some of the most unique and wearable jewelry designs I've ever seen. The space is fantastic--with welcoming couches at the back wall and Jill's large-scale sculpture hanging from the ceiling, you get the impression you're in someone's cool loft apartment, rather than just another store. The staff was fabulous (looking and in manners)--I was encouraged to try pieces on and they answered all of my questions.
Hidden Gem

The store really is a hidden gem. Who knew there was such a beautiful store on Crosby Street? I love the open airy space that looks and feels more like a gallery than a retail store. It's a nice respite from the craziness of Soho. It's also very refreshing to see someone who's not just following trends. Jill's unique yet timeless designs really make them an investment that you can enjoy beyond one season. Her pieces really work well together, and makes it impossible to stop at just one! I never wore much jewelry before, but I wear my bracelets everyday. And I plan to keep adding to my collection! Definitely worth checking out.
- Pros: helpful staff, beautiful space, amazing jewelry

I saw a Jill Platner necklace on a friend and just had to check out her store. Its hidden away on crosby street and is like a jewel in the rough, the day I went in the staff had on some great reggae music and everyone was so friendly and helpful, I had no idea what I wanted and they helped me choose the most perfect necklace, I haven't taken it off since I got it! I am absolutley going back soon, I need a bracelet to go with my new necklace! So worth checking out, but I warn you, you will get addicted to her beautiful jewelry!!!

What a great store! The jewelry is unique and beautiful and the store setup is like a gallery, complete with the designer's own large scale sculptures on display. I now have a bracelet that I never take off. Definitely a spot worth checking out in Soho with friendly staff and great jewelry.
