Garage on 26th street and 6th ave (in The Chelsea Landmark building) - TERRIBLE

These guys are really awful. Its shameful and sadening that garages in this city treat customers like dirt, and most of these guys can't speak english either.

I took a monthly spot, paid through the nose, and these guys have made endless mistakes, including not giving me my car b/c they swapped my forms and couldn't find the right ones.

On top of all their screw ups, the garage manager, Carlos, wouldn't give me his bosses name or his number, trying to hide his shameful behaviour.

Try to reach Icon parking headquarters and you'll bump into a wall. AWFUL experience.

Car Abuse

This Icon garage may be okay, but do not be fooled into thinking that means you will have the same experience at all Icon garages. I park regularly at Icon's garage on Third Avenue near 15th Street. It is a small underground facility that packs cars so closely together the rear view mirrors have to be folded back. Cars must be continually moved in order to get more cars in or get cars out. This is wear and tear on the transmission. My car has had body damage 3 separate times. There have also been shoe prints across the hood of my car from an attendant having to walk over my car to reach another car. The garage is in my building so I have resisted moving it for safety reasons because I sometimes return the car late at night. The garage has paid to fix the damage twice, denying their responsibility one time. If you drive a luxury car or a new car, this is not a garage you should consider.

• Pros: Location.
• Cons: Closes at midnight. Cars sustain damage from cramped space.
