I'm not sure who was worse, the bartender who did not pour the sangria my friends and I ordered or the waiter who spil a glass of sangria all over my friend!! Appetizers were ok but the main dishes were overloaded with salt.
Cons: Terrible service and food

This was probably the worst dining experience of my life. I guess I should have left when we ordered a pitcher of sangria from the bar and the bartender gave us glasses and the pitcher and walked away without pouring our drinks. It only got worse from there. They forced 6 of us to squeeze into a semi circle booth where we were virtually on top of one another. The waiter had such an attitude and seemed so annoyed that we were there. He then proceeded to knock down my glass of sangria which went all over my friend's pants and HE DID NOT EVEN APOLOGIZE OR GET US NEW NAPKINS, WE WERE BASICALLY CLEANING UP THE TABLE OURSELVES. The food was horrible and salty and we all jumped up to leave before the dessert menu came. I've had a better meal at my local diner and at McDonald's. Please don't waste your time. The lounge area is not any better....the music was bad and the DJ couldn't seem to regulate the sound. Not the greatest crowd at the bar either.

I work around the corner from The Park, and having an enjoyable lunch there a year ago (ambiance is great), I started going frequently. Recently the service and food has been going markedly down hill as has their delivery service. I waited 1:20 minutes from the time I ordered my food until it FINALLY arrived. The hostess ignored my calls as I checked on where my order was. The food was like ice when it finally arrived and THEY STILL BILLED MY CREDIT CARD. No, "I'm sorry, your food was late." no "I'm sorry we're swamped here." _ they weren't it was a Monday at 7pm. Come on people, get it together! NOTHING. BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO to the Park. That's one place I won't visit or order from again.

So we decided to get some dessert and happened to pass by. We've seen it before but never ventured in yet, so we figured we'd give it a try. We asked and were seated outside and as we ordered, a THING (can't say the which 4 legged scavenger m-word as it's prohibited by citysearch) decided to run a few feet behind us. OK, it's outside(ish) in a park environment so a THING, while not the best thing to see, is understandable, if not. It kept running down and left us (and our dessert) alone, so we hurried up a bit (one of our party isn't exactly fond of them, putting it lightly). Next, a bunch of waterbugs (that's what the waiter called them) crawled by and flew at us and our food. If you don't know what they are, they are 2 inch long, ugly as sin and fly. We quickly got up and moved our seats (and food) to another table away from any tree or dirt or nature in general. As we finished up, yet another THING ran by us and into the restaurant itself. We notified the waiter and he was quite sorry for the experience. As for me and my friends, we understood that when you basically have an indoor (and very pretty) park, you're bound to have some uninvited guests. Still, it wasn't an enjoyable. Desserts were pretty good, my favorite being the banana wontons. The crisp of the day (peach in our case) was very good as well. Creme brulee is good but standard. when is it ever bad if done correctly? I would go back if only for drinks on the insistence of others. I'm not going to eat any food when I know what's running and flying around.
Pros: very nice indoor outdoor environment
Cons: don't eat outside

Wow, what a great place to eat and party on a Saturday night! We sat in the garden with a great ambiance & style. The restaurant is very well decorated and not too overwhelming. The food was fantastic. Our table ordered the salmon, tun, and penne pastas in which all were delicious! Our server was great, very attentive and on top of everything. The calamari & steamed mussels were fantastic: filled with flavour!! Pricing for the meals were very reasonable & appropriate. The portions were just right. At midnight the penthouse opens up & turns into a club. The music is the penthouse is more club/dance, whereas in he atrium, garden & main room the music was mostly hip hop/club/pop. I honestly did not hear one bad song! Service at the bar was very fast, and waitresses are aware of everyone sitting in the booths. Overall, this was a fantastic place to eat in NYC. If you want to enjoy a great meal, have fun on the dance floor or sit and chat with friends over a few drinks go to the Park! I have been recommeding this place to everyone and I will definitely be returning next time i'm in the city! :)
Pros: Food, drinks, ambience, location, very spacious, service, decor
Cons: washrooms can be messy

This place was a beautiful spot -- one of the prettiest outdoor seating that I've seen. But thank goodness that it was beautiful because there wasn't much else to make the experience great. The hostess was rude as can be and the service mediocre. One would have expected more for the price.
Pros: Beautiful outdoor space
Cons: Food sub-standard considering the price

I have been going to The Park for many years now. It's a great place to go to sit and relax with your friends and have good drinks and nice conversation. Good enegery and decent people. I can't speak of the food in the same light but that aside it's fun!
Pros: Great Drinks
Cons: Average food

I recently went there w/ my family and friends for dinner to celebrate a fun accomplishment. The decor and food were excellent as always but our server Corey was horrible. He was never there and when he was there he was rude and full of bad attitude. Corey was even rude to my older parents who were just happy to be out with all of us for dinner! Quite frankly ,Corey was the worst waiter I've ever had which says a lot considering I was a NY waiter for awhile. I might return and give The Park another shot so long as Corey isn't working there.

Absolutely heed the prior advice on having a girl with you if you're a guy trying to gain entrance. On a Friday night, despite the heavy rain and complete lack of a line, the bouncer uttered towards the ground after I showed her my ID "You need a girl with you". I tried explaining to her that I was with a large party already upstairs and was again greeted with those same words of denial, without so much of an aversion of her eyes from the piece of paper she was looking at.

I threw a birthday bash here on a Saturday night and followed some of the recommendations to NOT get bottle service and I'm glad I didn't. The music is so GOOD it gets you pumped!! And by 1am all the couches free up and you end up finding a place to sit anyway. Coat check is free and getting in around or before 10pm on the dot is a must if you don't want to wait. Guys must come in with girls or you won't get in! The line to the rooftop opens at 1130, but wait till 12am to head up. A Bartender had a fight with my friend so I suggest getting bombed at the downstairs bar before heading up to the rooftop to party. All in all I had a great and wonderful time there. It's a bit claustrophobic and very very Asian. It lacks a lot of skeevy ppl which is nothing short of awesome. You can dress up or dress casual and you'll fit in. Drinks are a tab expensive ($10 for a Grey Goose cranberry) but even nasty clubs like Webster Hall still charge that price. Also, there is a smoking section right down the stairs from club.
