VACATION IN THE CITY!

I got the deluxe package (facial, massage, seaweed wrap for hands and feet) as a birthday gift and was VERY nervous to entrust my face to someone new. The spa is now under new management which may explain the difference in my experience from other reviewers. I was given 2 questionnaires (get there earlier than your appt. so not to lose out on treatment time) on preferences etc. Massage was excellent and professional in a quiet room downstairs with fragrant jasmine oil, dusk lighting and low music. I had to wait between services due to lack of organization in my opinion, but was made to wait in a reflexology massage chair which was wonderful. My facial session was interrupted but the anesthesiologist was very knowledgeable about my skin and compensated my patience by giving me $50 of free DDF products and a free glycolic peel. I will be back!

awful experience

I took my mother to this "spa" for mothers day last year and to make a long story short it was an awful experience! First of all when we got there, the "spa" wasnt even open...the staff came running up after we stood in the cold for 20 min...the inside of the spa was cold..the "spa" treatments were done well before the appointed time, like 1 hr too early..and the staff was unprofessional and unapologetic about the sub-standard service! I would not recommend CYNERGY to my worst enemy!

So So Experience

Cynergy needs to pay attention to detail. A little less noise while services are in progress. Massage was great, but I was never asked if it was too much pressure or if I had any areas needing special attention. Tea table was not clean, dust was noticed on lamps. Detail, detail detail.

So relaxing...it felt like home

Overall Cynergy was a great experience. If you are looking for a place to make you feel at home then this is the place. But every place has it's cons. Unfortunately we were late. They dock one minute for every minute that we are late from our services. The time was taken from 1 service (Don't know if this is cutomary but I hoped it would be dock it evenly from all the services). The hostess seemed to have an attitude. They said because it was my friend's b-day they were going to do something special. After talking to her nothing special was done differently from the service I got. I am not looking for a freebie but a gift certificate/ free product would have been nice. The woman who did my facial made the event a success for me and my friend enjoyed the day. So I was pleased.

Heaven found in Harlem!

The closest thing to Heaven is right here in Harlem. This peaceful haven is tucked away in a convenient spot. The owners are pleasant and greet you at the door like old friends. The staff is very knowledgeable about pressure points. The full body massages are stimulating!

It will help to keep your stress level down if visited once a month!
