Overcrowded, overpriced, watered down drinks. I can't think of one good reason to go back. And the bouncers and waitresses are unbelievably rude.

Great place to go. I go here to watch various football games. Not only is the staff very friendly but the food is wonderful!! Def a place to go!

Proof is right around the corner from where I live and I go there at least once a week. The staff is incredible, fun environment, and great prices on drinks. I love this place and will continue to go there for as long as i am living in NYC!

First time i have been to Proof was last night. Only 3 places in New York were advertising they would show the UFC 79 fights. 2 bars stated they would charge $20 and proof said $15.... i went to Proof. At the door i was charged $20 even after i told them if was told $15 (greed is ugly). The other main problem i had was in this VERY packed bar with the final and championship match to start the Manager turned off the 7 foot TV. I told the bartender to tell the manager to put it back on, no luck. We were all stuck watching very small TV's. I guess they got our money and know they didn't care.... no recommended

Just a head's up....I've been to Proof a bunch of times and just made my New Year's Eve reservation there. They offer $75 general admission and $125 VIP. If you look around like I did you will quickly learn that this is the best offer you'll find. Open bar from 9pm-2am. I booked a party of 8 and we all did the VIP package, it comes with some app's, champagne, 2 bottles of Vodka. I really like Proof and I know people are looking for a good place to chill on NYE, came across this affordable option and thought I would try to spread the word. No matter what you decide on doing, have a safe and happy holiday!

This place was amazing! I went with a group of my friends after work for happy hour last Wednesday and we had the best time..they have Karaoke on Wednesdays and a great crowd. The staff is great, outgoing and love their customers. Everyones just playing beer-pong, eating wings and singing their hearts out, probably because of the great happy hour specials. Def go there for happy hour with your friends or even coworkers if you want some good bar food, very reasonable drinks, a great atmosphere and a lot of fun..

It was my friends birthday and we all went out to proof. We paid like 20 bucks for an open bar package and got drunk... they played sick music and had a great looking crowd if you know what I mean, I am 100 percent doing my birthday party there...........partyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

I've heard bad things about this lounge from friends and co-workers and almost refused to go in when we saw the looks of the people standing in line. We were there for a private gathering and the young man they hired to check id's told me that my id was fake, which i'm clearly over 21. After requesting to speak to a manager and having being treated extreamly rude, we finally went in and our waitress didn't come over for atleast 20minutes. When i finally recieved my drink it was extreamly watered down, so the reason everyone on here loves the cheap drinks must have never had a decent drink in nyc because this place has worse drinks i have ever had in the city, probably the only place that i've been to that messes up a grey goose martini. I will never go to this horrible place again!

Don't be fooled by the comments on here written by friends of management. This venue is poorly organized. Young management staff and event bookers means that you get bad accomodations and service. I belong to three different networking groups and have been to Proof three times in the past two months and every time our group gets screwed over somehow. I went last night and we were promised the downstairs lounge. We got there and found out we had been bumped upstairs where they already had about 4 other groups booked. Another time I went for drinks with friends and they insisted on breaking out the kareoke even though nobody was interested in it and they blared the music until people either left or sang a song because they felt bad for the guy who ran the kareoke. I went another night for a spa party and the manicurist never showed up. The staff is young and are clearly friends of the owners as they don't have a clue what they're doing. Drinks are also totally watered down during happy hour and the food is awful.
